Yes because there's so many clubs run with clean money😄

We've got a team with a very questionable betting company logo on the front of the shirt.

Bedford went years without a football team after Charles Wells took back the land the ground was on.

They restarted on park pitches with people going around collecting money in a bucket and after getting a ground outside the town , it's just been a bit shit and has been going nowhere for years.

I know the owner, quite a decent bloke and wants to do something for the town , which was always rugby , so I'll go when I can't get to Leicester games for my footy fix.

Don't forget to brush your teeth afterwards if you pop down and join me 😄

It worries me though how long that'll last, and how much will it actually do for the town...

given there’s already rumours that the supporters of Bedford Town are looking to set up a Phoenix club

Don't mind it! Will be keeping a close eye on events over the next few months or so.

Not sure where they'll get the money from...

Fair play to everyone who travels so far.

We travel form Worksop, and I'm really getting fed up of watching thus shite, which is being served up

Since moving out of Leicestershire for work in 1996, every home game is 150 mile round trip from the other side of Peterborough. Never once flinched even when we went down to League One. But this lot are testing my investment in fuel and tyres!

Keep coming to the city, our great city! But don’t worry about the football

Still on the train back to Peterborough now.

Starting to quickly realise I'm the mug for putting myself through it. Sick of it 😂 have really decided in my head now that I've had enough and will really cut back some of the aways next season, especially in the Champ

I agree find it so annoying that so many of our so called die hard fans on the various podcasts  never even attend matches. Don't know how they can call themselves fans esp Lox off Blue tinted glasses lives in Leicester  not been to a single game this season

hard to run a fan channel on matchdays when not near his laptop tbf

But the point I'm making is that he's never attended matches how can he be considered a real fan?

Not sure how many games he's attended but if you're trying to say that only 30,000 people are 'real' leicester fans then you are a part of the problem as to why this club will never be a big club.. Would you consider someone who can't afford match tickets not a 'real' fan also?

I tend to agree with the viewpoint of Alan Young ex legend of the club from the early 80s when fans used to come up to him in the street and talk about the City he would ask them one question do you attend matches ?If the answer  was yes he would  happily chat to them if the answer  was no he would simply say your opinion  is worthless you contribute  nothing to the club.

In fairness ... back in the 70's and 80's, there were pretty much no live matches to be seen.   So if you didn't go and watch the City regularly, you wouldn't know how well (or badly) we were actually playing.   All you'd ever get is a few minutes of highlights, every few weeks ... if you were lucky!

(It's worth pointing out that you can be a "fan" but be unable to attend matches eg if you have certain physical issues, or if you have to look after someone and there's no one to help you out, and obviously now as it's so expensive)

I was born & raised on St Matthews could hear the fans when I was in bed if there was a decent crowd as couldn’t go on a school night on the midweek games, it was a mile & a bit, 27 years brilliant!!

Now near Gilmorton, so about 12 miles I think

I travel over from Switzerland (since 2019) but only get to the KP around 5 or 6 games a season now.

Great effort you put the likes of Lox and Nik Moore off Leicester fantv to shame.
