Liam manning is going on leave until the end of the season. Which may mean Alves gets a few more opportunities

It will be his assistant taking over though who will be aligned with Manning sadly.

Manning is the second Huddersfield manager this season to not select Alves too often..

Jayden Joseph played his first game for Tranmere in what seems like an age in a 1-0 loss to Shrewsbury.

Woyo came on on 58 minutes for Sassuolo in a 2-1 win over Cagliari, not conceding in his time on the pitch.

Cartwright an unused sub in Falkirks 3-2 win over Motherwell.

Apparently been crap today haha but a great moment for him

Hopefully the goal will give him some confidence. The couple of times I've watched him play for Northampton he was getting in all the right positions but the finishing touch wasn't there.

Sounds like a decent one, according to Northampton x account beat 2 defenders before firing past the keeper!

Evans scores for Northampton!

In a parallel universe he’s scoring that as the winner for us in the sheff w game.

First game as a striker for them and he bags. Been compared to rooney in how he doesn’t shy away from the physical side. Got the winger ability to glide past players.

Cant help but think he was the most ready for the fist team of the youth we’ve got and yet he got the least opportunities.

He’d have had more of an impact than Monga IMO. Think he’s more likely to do the defensive work too

Give it a rest ffs 😂. Hes scored 1 goal in 11 games and starts most games on the bench for the 2nd worst side in League one

This actually cuts out the part where he creates the whole thing to begin with….

Wow, what is a striker doing making that turn in midfield.

Ridiculous, in a good way. Unlike Ayew who drops into midfield but falls over/doesn't make it into the box.
