Rubbersoul Posted 3 April Posted 3 April Alves & Evans not involved at all today. Not sure if Alves is injured can’t find anything
JimJams Posted 4 April Posted 4 April Jayden Joseph played his first game for Tranmere in what seems like an age in a 1-0 loss to Shrewsbury. Woyo came on on 58 minutes for Sassuolo in a 2-1 win over Cagliari, not conceding in his time on the pitch. Cartwright an unused sub in Falkirks 3-2 win over Motherwell. 3

Sounds like a decent one, according to Northampton x account beat 2 defenders before firing past the keeper!

First game as a striker for them and he bags. Been compared to rooney in how he doesn’t shy away from the physical side. Got the winger ability to glide past players. Cant help but think he was the most ready for the fist team of the youth we’ve got and yet he got the least opportunities. 2

Think he’s more likely to do the defensive work too
Popular Post honeybradger Posted 7 April Popular Post Posted 7 April As someone who was very pro youngsters getting a chance at the start of the season you have to factor in the fact that a number of our fans are quick to get on the back of our youngsters. In an ideal world would it be better for Evans to be ahead of Ayew and Daka? I would say yes. In the real world if he was starting for the majority of this season he would be getting the blame for our woes up front. There just isn't any leeway for a player to develop their game here. Look at Monga for example. Therefore it's probably best that he learns his trade elsewhere and gets a chance with us when he's fully ready. 5

Hes scored 1 goal in 11 games and starts most games on the bench for the 2nd worst side in League one 1

Wow, what is a striker doing making that turn in midfield. Ridiculous, in a good way. Unlike Ayew who drops into midfield but falls over/doesn't make it into the box. 1
