Do you guys think this season away tickets will be easier to get for ST holders and members?

Should be, think the only one you may struggle with is Oxford

It's been the same process for years. They're just selling slower because we're shit again

The process has been inconsistent over the years.

Sometimes they sensibly open up all the blocks when they're fairly sure they'll sell most or all of the tickets

(for example last season they opened up all the blocks away to Tottenham, Palace and Fulham.)

Sometimes they sensibly only open one block or two at a time, when we almost certainly won't sell anywhere near all of the tickets

(eg a long distance away night match, or early rounds of a league cup etc)

But other times they don't open up most or all of the blocks, when it's absolutely obvious we'll sell out.

(for example - here for Charlton away, they should've opened up all lower 6 blocks as a minimum, even if they then did the other 5 upper blocks later)

And Cov due to the smaller allocation. Maybe Wrexham too. The rest should be OK unless we're winning every week.

Wrexham midweek so should be fine

Think Cov may be OK, tickets look like it may be £45 so may put some off.

Who determines the selling order of the blocks?

I’ve always believed it was the away club. (e.g. the club whose ground we are visiting!)

That would explain the 'inconsistency' as different clubs would have different away ticketing polices.

You'd be right but with Charlton as the away stand can't be split, so I don't see what's gained.

I've already pushed the boat out and gone for hospitality for me and the lad for what is our "home" fixture

The away club determines the "order".  That's effectively just a process, in case you don't sell all of them, and need to return some back to the home club.

But if an away allocation is 3,000 in 9 blocks,  for example   And you absolutely know you are going to sell at least 2000, there's no reason why you shouldn't open up at least the first 5 blocks, say.     Then maybe a block at a time, later on.

If it was a televised night match away to Middlesbrough, for example, the Club wouldn't  know how many they would sell.   So in that case, you would definitely only open one block at a time.

Might risk waiting until the evening if the upper will open. Surely it has too
