Of course they were they just got promoted. Into the meat of the season when they're losing most weeks they'll be back to silence and taking 1200 away from home like the rest of this league.

I went to a few charlton away games when they were sh1t in league 1.  Of course they took much smaller numbers but they made a lot of noise despite that.

I will say, they also take some real scum with them on away days, don't know whether the two correlate... didn't particularly enjoy the experience but then I'm a middle aged pansy.

Thought our end was better than most recent games. Didn't help that a few chants against Rudkin and Hamza when we were 0-0 and then when we were winning. Think there's a time for that and that wasn't it, and they came across as a bit silly to be honest. Thought Hamza bringing the players closer for the huddle and the players making some sort of effort with the fans was reciprocated.

Dead away end. Really bad.

Actually glad to hear that wasn't the norm because it was so, so quiet.  Any particular reason or just general apathy towards the club at the moment?

Don’t know where to put this but;

To those printing and bringing the “stop the boats” Leicester City flags to the ground, please stop.

If those are your views;

1. Give your head a wobble

2. Don’t use Leicester City as a vehicle to spread them views.

1. Why?

You can’t tell someone to give their head a wobble because they don’t agree with your views.
Disagree with what they say, fine. But your opinion isn’t any more or less valid than the next persons.

Don’t particularly agree with the stickers myself, but what right do I have to tell someone what they can or can’t do?

That’s a fair point and I’ll take it out of the original post.

But I would also like to say, a lot worse has been said the “give your head a wobble” during a disagreement on here.

Really poor end today I thought.. separation didn’t help between the upper and lower but that shouldn’t have been an excuse. Once again left side right side is the most tin pot you can get.

hard slog in the stands I’m afraid

Was near our end today in the home end. When we actually open our gobs we're really quite loud. But it's very rare.

Give your head a wobble = I disagree with your viewpoint. Why would you not be able to say that?

I don't think the poster is telling anyone what they can or can't do.

If you disagree you don't need to back down. There's nothing wrong with calling out opinions you disagree with

Not sure anyone can be bothered engaging with you on this one

Having had contact with the OP, I know and understand why they said what they said. Unless you’re their spokesperson, you do not.

The two Bochum guys commented along these lines.
Said it was actually noisy when more than 100 or so joined in and that they thought we needed to hold a chant for longer.

Because there’s completely different intentions to the way they’re said and you’re surely clever enough to understand that.
