FA CUP - 1st Qualifying Round

With us playing at home on Friday night, wondered if anyone was going to a local FA Cup 1st qualifying round on Saturday.

 

I shall be heading down to Quorn FC v Sherwood Colliery.

 

Hopefully be a decent turnout.

How did you get on Monday, we got beat 1-0 at home to Barwell. Played an understrength team and got caught out.

I do the matchday media for them so I go home and away. Great club and playing some good football so far this season.

Beat Kettering 1-0 away who had won all 4 games previously. Was there with my Leeds supporting mate in a crowd of over 2,000 (600) away. Got Quorn at home Tuesday evening 9th September, we'll be there!

Had 17 minutes stoppage time as game was halted for 15 mins due to the black linesman being racially abused by some Kettering 'fans'

We're doing great as well, lost on penalties to Kettering in play off semi last season so nice revenge. Think bookies have us as favourites to get promoted. See you at the burger van 7.45 kick off.
