Much better performance by England, but wow Australia were dull. Cannot remember a single shot on target for them. Was there tonight, game seem to fly by.

Red card probably didn’t help ?

It's interesting, in some ways I can see where Earps is coming from she's been professional throughout her England career to then suddenly be relegated to no2 despite the other keeper showing less professionalism. Sadly Weigman's wins the argument as whilst Mary was at home, Hampton became an hero in the penalty shootout.

Just witnessed local amateur witnessed a local womens match abandoned due to crowd trouble! no joke crowd trouble in women's football! It started out with two or three players fighting then suddenly some of the spectators decided to climb over the fence to get involved. Horrible scenes which I have never witnessed in ladies football, seen a bloke punch female player... poor gal was knocked out cold. Police called and came did nowt! they were gone within ten minutes. If honest it brewing all game as the two sides clashed quite often, then one big scrap blew over. Referee just said I can't carry it on as it's now a police matter. There was still about 20 minutes to go not sure what the league will decide to do, away team winning 6-1 at the time.

Why are England in the second pot? considering we won back to back euros and world cup finalists.

It’s been drawn like the Nations league is apparently.

From the BBC:

Qualifying for the World Cup, which will be held in Brazil, follows the same format as the Nations League and is split into three tiers.

Only the four group winners in League A will automatically qualify for the finals, with the remaining teams having to go through the play-offs for the remaining eight places.

Laura Woods collapsed live on air whilst presenting coverage of England Women's 2-0 win over Ghana at St Mary's. Apparently she's ok but had to be replaced by pitchside interviewer Katie Shanahan...

Good to hear Laura Woods is ok after what must have been a scary moment .

It was a nasty fall for Laura, it could be over work to be fair. She certainly travels and covers a lot of games, probably a sign to slow down, I think she's only been an mum for less than a year.

She didn't even hit the ground!

Obviously hope she's okay.

Didn't realise Arsenal's game to postpone their match with us was tonight.

Just switched on and they've scored in extra-time to go ahead.

How was it decided that they get home advantage though?

Does seem an odd decision.  Another advantage arsenal have is their opponents are only in pre season, their league doesnt start until march.

The Corinthian fans have been brilliant.
