Isn't the  point about empty seats to be answered in the recent thread of the last game at KP you enjoyed? And in the very many kick off times - there will be a quite a number of ST holders who have to rearrange shifts. Why bother if there is a very good chance you won't really enjoy the game? And for non ST holders no great incentive to attend given performances. The weather going into the winter period won't help either in getting fans to attend.

Even if actual attendances at games are not published, KP will know the numbers attending. Trouble is, I am not sure they will draw same conclusion as most fans.

Frankly as far as the club is concerned people have already stumped up in advance for their tickets so the absence of bums on seats is not such a financial one, the guys and gals running the food stalls selling that godawful overpriced crap will probably be taking the biggest hit, and of course the massively over priced crap quality club shop merchandise will also be taking a battering.

Bring back standing and pay on the gate LOL! those old enough to remember.. Those were the days!

Likewise I agree, but saw something second half, largely led by, Mavadidi, Fatawu, James, Thomas…..and we have a sprinkling of young talent…that was committed, passionate and worked..it will take time offload those who don’t want to be here, make James team captain, lock him in, and sign good solid players to keep us up, and push on…..as I see it the board are unclear on what they want, the Manager is the same, and the body language of the senior players tells me they are the same…it will take three seasons…..

unfortunately I think James will be jumping ship with his oars as soon as poss....

I notice the club don’t  currently chase you up with irritating emails if you don’t attend reminding you about the option to sell or forward them.

A few of us who didn’t go the Stoke game got one.

This club has an unusual craving for stewards. We seem to employ thousands to quell one of the tamest fanbases around. They were lined up close to the directors seats with about 20 supporters, whose average age appeared to be 62, appearing to make no attempt to do anything but clearly about to embark on a full on protest (possibly because the teddies thrown last week didn't head their way)?

Have there been any issues lately because for the first time I got stopped and asked to empty my pockets yesterday. I usually just walk past them unhindered.

That consisted of four Gaviscon tablets, a pack of tissues and a pack of Jelly Babies.

I’m 56, and I feel targeted.

I really wasn’t in the mood for it anyway and at the point he stopped me I really felt like just saying sod it, turning around and going home.  In hindsight that would have been an excellent decision.

As we know, Football Clubs publish attendance figures, which are nearly always just the number of tickets sold.    In our case, I'm pretty sure this would still include all those ST seats up-for-resale, but not actually re-sold.

But it's my understanding that the local safety authorities also require the number of people actually attending each match.   Not simply, number of tickets sold.

So, if anyone can be bothered to try ... a Freedom Of Information (FOI) request sent to the relevant Leicestershire safety group, and/or Police or Fire authority ... might come up with some interesting numbers.

West Ham fan groups do this every week to expose their club doing the same.

Yes checked this out . Interesting. Rather than 62 more like 52 average. Down to 40 lowest. Apparently 10% no shows is the norm in all sorts of ticket sales events. This seems more though………

Football is becoming less appealing for many reasons , empty seats are here to stay……

Yet attendances have never been higher.

Just ask one of the stewards.
