Matt Posted 27 December 2005 Author Posted 27 December 2005 6/1 Leicester to win are brilliant odds I reckon, might put a couple of quid on that, after all I did say the following in the predictions forum Reading 0-2 Leicester City N/A -------------- Hume We raise our game against the better teams, I can see us winning() , The players know they will need to work harder in this game rather than thinking - "Ah its only Crewe/Millwall they are in the relegation zone we'll beat these easy" ...and we did it against Sheffield Utd, I know the only consistant thing Leicester are good at is being Un-Consistant but 6/1 are really good odds! 125/1 for Leicester to win 2-0 and Iain Hume to be first scorer...tempting, although I can see Reading scoring prehaps make it 2-1 (100/1 for 2-1 and Iain Hume first scorer)
Samu Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 Why not put the money on. Who says we can't beat them? We beat Watford away when no one expected it. We do seem to play better against better opposition. It's a strange division as well as anyone can beat anyone.
Cobbo Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 First goal scorer: Joey Gudjonsson - 14/1 That's where the money's at
Head Honcho Posted 27 December 2005 Posted 27 December 2005 I'm depressed. I can't remember the last time we were 6/1 to win a game!

Cobbo Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 First goal scorer: Joey Gudjonsson - 14/1 That's where the money's at Tis true... those odds totally rock.
Collymore Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 i've had £3 on us at 6.... Reading are no Chelsea, I would have even taken 3/1 on that game..cracking odds
l444ry Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 i've had £3 on us at 6.... Reading are no Chelsea, I would have even taken 3/1 on that game..cracking odds Should have used Betfair. You can get 8/1 there.
Collymore Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Should have used Betfair. You can get 8/1 there. silly odds
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 I've got on at 8-1. Don't think we'll win, but that's ridiculous odds in a two horse race over the busy Christmas period.
l444ry Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 I've got on at 8-1. Don't think we'll win, but that's ridiculous odds in a two horse race over the busy Christmas period. And Reading to win can be Layed at 1/2. If City can get to 30mins at 0-0 or better still leading, you can then back Reading and win all ways round.....
The People's Hero Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Won't those odds change as the game is in progress?
l444ry Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Won't those odds change as the game is in progress? Exactly, Reading could well be Evens after half an hour if 0-0.
Ultra Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Went into Ladbrokes after work to lay a bet - and our odds have now been cut to 11-2. Bookies getting a little nervous?
Blue Arrow Posted 28 December 2005 Posted 28 December 2005 Reading winning 4-0 is almost as likely as a 2-2 draw
