I’ve missed this track as it was always a great race. This enthusiasm guarantees an absolute dross of a race tomorrow…

Yeah always loved this track. Baffling the likes of Sepang, Turkey and Germany didn’t make the cut while Netherlands, Austria and another American circuit got the nod.

Ferrari 2 and 4….probably still gonna finish 4th and 5th😂

Who predicted this grid on Friday? :D  Verstappen & SLH at the front...  Russell back in 8th...

Didn’t he win last time F1 was in Malaysia too ?

Back to normal for Russell then - he did say Red Bull were probably favourites.

Is there any way Antonella doesn’t win the title easily now?

Did the damage in the 1st 1/3 of the season by looks of it

Not unless he basically doesn’t finish any more races  or gets no points .

Thats going to be dull then, thanks

At least I found out today a Lad from Norwich has become World Speedway champion

The weather might have something to say about that... :D

EDIT: I remember my Dad taking me to watch Speedway once when I was little.  Can't remember where, now... (Looks at map... Kings Lynn?)

I'm usually first to complain they're overly cautious with racing in wet weather, but that is pretty wet...

Usual fare in Sepang .

Hopefully there is a race though.

Did that happen due to the regs or is it a random thing? Seemed like all the cars just glitched from going slowly

Sounds like it.

According to the explanation just now then yes it’s the regs, stay off the throttle to long then turbo switches off, battery then steps in but drains quickly so driver left with an unresponsive throttle

Bizarre. I wonder if that’s why there’s a seemingly ridiculously long wait now. Shame it’s dried up completely

According to Mercedes the FIA have sent all cars a software update but Mercedes are unsure what it’s for and only know they have been asked to apply it so it seems the wait has been for that
