You’re quite right. There’s definitely a lot of projection and insecurity knocking about from this type of ‘supporter’ and we shouldn’t be letting them wind us up (easier said than done). I also think that a lot of us who were around when we went into administration before really, really don’t want to experience that again (I’m not talking about the younger fans that are getting vilified currently, they couldn’t help when they were born). We’re also clued up enough to realise that administration is a very real possibility if this current ownership continues as it is. It’s like trying to sweep up leaves during a storm with some people.

It’s basic psychology to work it out as well, that it comes from insecurity.

I was young when administration happened although I had started going to games but have very clear memories of growing up and my early teenage years being those 2004-2008 years. You can’t get brought up on those years and subsequently have an entitled mentality. You just can’t. What you can expect is the basics to be done as we watched years of poor quality players at least put their all in. That’s why it is so painful now.

And you’re right that trying to target young people is plain wrong as yeah, they can’t help when they were born. But their voice is as important as someone who is 60/70 but showed no interest in the club until 2014.

Yes. I did the march (through slightly gritted teeth, as I'm one of the quiet ones. If I felt uncomfortable, I can guarantee other quiet people did - but instead chose to not protest)

I haven't been to a game in over a year. But will to join an organised protest in the west stand...and feel much more comfortable doing it there than outside the f bar and chanting the word 'cvnt' in the streets

I'm not having a pop at the protests -far from it

...I'm just describing how I suspect many of our  introvert fan base thinks/feels like I do.

For the record I’m a massive introvert too but the anger inside me gives me the courage (for want of a better word) to go along and chant against the ownership with a load of other people, some I do know and a lot I don’t. The people who were using the C word got shouted down so I feel next time there won’t be any of that at all. People realise that being abusive to Rudkin isn’t the way forward. I would gently encourage anyone who isn’t a raging extrovert and is on the fence about it to just come along and see for yourself. If you don’t want to sing then just walk, you don’t even have to speak to anyone if you don’t want but you’re all there for the same reason.

As a younger person who attended the protest, so what? I went to my first game in 2010 when I was very young, but haven’t been going to games regularly until about 5 seasons ago when my family were more comfortable with me going regularly. Just because I’m not old enough to have been a STH last time we were in league one doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t have a voice about the future of the club, because for my generation of fans, the worry is that we won’t have a club for our children with these people in charge

as a younger fan myself I completely agree - ageism and snobbery is a bit of a p1sstake

In fairness to him, I signed up in 2008, was waiting to see if we ever won the Premier League, biding my time, and then started supporting when it did happen. So he's right. He got me.

These are the people we're meant to respect? lol their opinions should be totally disregarded. Cattle.

iirc you were involved with the fosse boys way back as well? obviously we were just doing that to cause trouble for an ownership that didn't exist yet

Very borderline. Went up one or two times. Again though I was just scoping for the future - incase we ever won the league.

Rather than chuck tennis balls inside the stadium could we do it outside the reception/corporate entrance. Not directed at anything but the stadium.

Although I'd rather a mass protest doing it inside.

Piss as many people off as possible

The club is genuinely pushing me to drive 2 hours to Leicester just to join a protest. Zero interest in actually going inside the stadium to watch the game either just stand outside with a sign on a Friday afternoon because the club is literally dying infront of our eyes. It’s absurd it’s come to this and was completely avoidable but here we are. Even had an attempt at an AI generated sign today as well because why not

well not marching from F Bar an hour before kick off with a load of fans that only supported since 2016

What about those who believe the only important part of the club started in 2010 (well, 2013 when the greatest ever owners finally got going)?
