And that was supposed to be one of the tough run in games for WBA. And a decent chance for a win at home for us against a team that hadn’t scored for 7 hours. Our goal difference is getting a hammering with the scale of our losses too, and with 2 points covering 4 teams, the relegation places could come down to goal difference.

It is quite possible to maintain two thoughts and they do not contradict

1. Ayew is awful
2. Defence is awful

#2 costs more goals than #1 - and this is not really the game  to state that falsehood either
