That's the line-up. So why not yesterday?
-
Someone who hasn't failed in a previous role as a starting line in the sand. RM is the new Steve Bruce, and there's been plenty over the years. It's one of the only jobs where you can completely fail, and another club says when can you start? How about someone who hasn't failed, even if relatively raw.

Manchester City Found Guilty Of Almost All Charges
Twitcher replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think they need to be kept for a while in a lower league with no prospect of promotion. Otherwise, it hands them a couple more trophies, (say League 1 and Championship) as you say, at the expense of another team being able to enjoy that. If we were lucky enough to be in that position with the chance to win a trophy, and they nicked it from us, I'd be annoyed. My grandson wasn't born when we won the league and is too young to remember the cup win. The one good thing of where we are now is he might see us lift a trophy. Man. City taking it from us 🤔 nah. -
How's this thing work? Are we out now?

Ye, those making jokes about alopecia need to have a word with themselves. My young granddaughter suffers from it, and it's heartbraking. No need.

Manchester City Found Guilty Of Almost All Charges

I think Chelsea have got off lightly, notwithstanding the admission. You commit murder, but then pop in to your local police station and admit it. Ye, new owners, but Chelsea's an entity. I also wonder how many other clubs are thinking that goodness we weren't hacked, and there but for the grace of God. -

So you think the scale prevents the punishment being announced at the same time? I don't really see why the punishment couldn't have been announced. -

A couple of questions:- Did we commit the same breach as City under psr, i.e. our ratio of income from the club wasn't enough to run the club in relation to outgoings, so the owner added income from his own pocket? And, why with every other judgment, I can remrmber, the outcome and punishment were announced in tandem, but with City, it's just the outcome? Is it because in every other one, guilt was pleaded? I just think with how this has been done, it opens the door to X2 appeals; one for the outcome, and then another for the punishment. -

Based on what's been said, (probably not by Man.City) is it unusual that they are appealing the decision, rather than the sanctions? In most other scenarios, (e.g. like ours) wasn't the decision accepted but the sanctions appealed? Is that because normally the decision and sanctions happen together? Could we end up with an even more protracted situation, with two appeals? City appeal the outcome. Let's assume that fails, and sanctions are placed on them. Do they then launch a second appeal in relation to the level of the sanctions? -
What's happened to Macfarlane; injured?
-
He'll probably drift off to Hoffenheim, have a good career, and represent his national side on a regular basis.

Ye, in the brief highlights, I picked up on the ease at which they crossed the ball. Defo. need to sort the centre-backs out, but we need the full-backs to step up on stopping crosses. -

Looking at the very brief highlights on tv last night, it came across that we were lucky to win. They hit the bar twice, two disallowed goals, (should they have been?), a couple of good saves. Is that fair, or was it biased highlights? -
4-2-3-1 -- What's the obsession???

I'd love to see a Leicester team with two forwards, like back in the day. Preferably ones that know where the net is. -
To be fair the Birmingham game was down to footwear on a frozen pitch, but yes still very painful at the time.

Faes, player manager?

That would be an interesting measure of Martin. We all know that Macfarlane looks the business; strong, passionate, not afraid to go forward. No way should he be dropped. If he is, and Thomas plays there, it's a real worry. One of those where how come everyone can see it except the manager. -

Seems to have been missed off the BBC website's "complete" list of deadline deals. Doesn't appear for yesterday or today. -

I think the poster's original point still stands though. We don't know what he's like. Me and a bloke exchanged words over a driving incident the other day. I'm sure he was probably a nice guy in other circs. and I know I am. We just don't know, which I think is fair. -
So he's not really from Trabzonspor. He'd left and was a free agent?

Stephy Mavididi loaned to Watford - Official
Twitcher replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Trouble is with these loan deals, you never know what the saving is, i.e. we don't know what percentage of his wages we're still picking up, if any. Hopefully it's Watford for 100%. -
I'm numb after that. After 42 minutes it was NURSE!! and I was ready to put a blood pressure pill under my tongue. Did McCarthy really play tippy tappy inside the six yard box, with what looked like a Plymouth player also inside the six yard box? Then at times the passing was Brazil, but often more like the Blue Brazil. Never seen so many mis-placed passes, and balls hit just out of someone's reach, or a player showing too much of the ball, or knocking it too far in front. Never once felt comfortable at 2-0. Page great, but some poor passes even from him. Alves and Braybrooke excellent. McCarthy good and bad. Thomas assured apart from one time, when out muscled. The two early substitutions were bizarre. Fifty-two minutes is such an odd time to make them for starters. Is seven minutes enough to see if it's working? Neither had done anything wrong second half. Bristric had just had a good run and needs to stay on and get that first goal, (looked disappointed to be replaced) and Howell must have been buzzing after scoring, yet both replaced. Someone earlier said the whole game was weird, and that probably sums it up best 🤷♂️
