Being so far from top should be a stackable offence, but as a club our standards are so low that the dream of 6th place in league one is enough

Rudkin fully cementing himself as one of footballs biggest wasters. Fair play to him him though, cosying up to Top has made him some class money. Takes a special kind of man to earn so much for being such a waste of space lol

We need Rudkin for strategic purposes

Even as the club is burned to the ground we need Rudkin for strategic purposes.

We actually started a home match well for once and yet you never feel comfortable. Some much of the match just drifts under his coaching.

I don’t hate Martin as much as others but having him here is just utterly futile, isn’t it?

We’re now in a position where he’s the reason a squad that could be trouncing the league isn’t. You see glimpses of what it could be like if he abandoned some of his principles: he does it when the pressure is on when he needs a result and, occasionally, a game gets a bit lively and players get caught up and abandon what he’s asking them to do, and it gets you excited for what it could be like.

But at what he perceives to be the first opportunity - whether it’s mid game or ahead of a fixture after a couple of wins has created some breathing space for him - he’ll revert back to his style. A style which happens to be an idealistic concept rather than a reality.

So we’re now in this position where we hope a guy who should be walking the league, abandons what he really wants to do enough to get us out of this league, knowing that in the league above it’ll be even worse and we’ll have to sack him as he won’t even be able to get a result here and there as the squad won’t be too good for the level at that point so that can’t counteract the handicap of his style.

There’s no long term future with Russell Martin. But then in the short term he’s not even the best candidate to achieve what’s really needed and he actually detracts from the long term by further alienating the fans, costing a lot to sack and riddling your squad with lads he’s had playing for him before elsewhere.

I think those in charge have some delusion that Leicester will pass teams off the park in League One and become so good at it that we stroll into the Championship and do it again before holding our own in the Premier League. Versus someone who’s a bit more in touch with the game is at right now and can win a game in a number of different ways, the shelf life of Russell Martin is so short that you can’t plan for a long term with him.

It’s all utterly pointless.

Rudkin feeds his family from money earned being a parasticic leech, sucking the blood out of this club.

I really do wonder how he sleeps at night, absolute disgrace of a man.
