There are categorically no excuses for what he’s served up with this squad and the players at his disposal this season. We should be top two minimum regardless of who’s in charge. 
 

It’s been absolutely shocking, bordering on criminal.

The tactics are diabolical, the team selections are baffling and the substitutions are nothing short of honking.

 

Everything is painfully slow. There’s absolutely no pace or urgency to our attacking play, and we look devoid of any real attacking intent.

 

Defensively, he clearly has no idea how to organise or set up a side properly. And contrary to what he seems to believe, we do not play good football, nor do we consistently create anything resembling good-quality chances.

 

There is no identity, no cohesion and precious little to suggest he knows how to turn this around.

I think 10th is where we stay come the end of the season and that us done for.

With the run of games we have coming up we will do well not to be back in 16th - 18th by end of the month.

What has Russell Martin showed you so far to think he is the right man for us? People are reasonably concerned about letting this season drift and then only acting when it's too late. Do you think they honestly want him to fail? 

Had we done that we'd probably be near the top of the championship now, I think we'd of got relegated at some stage due to the god awful recruitment but we wouldn't have been so financially ****ed as the downfall would have been a bit slower.

It’s one of those situations again where you kinda wish the opposition had clinched it with a goal at the end so there was no real choice but to sack the manager. Sacrificing a point to make a point, as it were.

 

As it is, we’ll just keep slowly bleeding out until the end of the season and, financially, the end of the club.

conceded 39 all season that year, we're on half of that after just 13 games. Lost 4 all season, lost that many already this season

Quite literally the only way we escape this mess is to drop the possession style. It simply cannot work effectively without a budget or a fluke season here or there. I cannot think of a single team in the last 10-15 years who sustained possession based football to success for multiple seasons without spending big, something we cannot do.

10 points from last 5 games is fine usually. Such a woeful start means we are mid table fodder still. I think he may get us in play offs but not sure has the ability to get automatic.
