I've said it time and time again but I just don't think he likes football. Which must be difficult when it's all you know how to do lol

Another very minor point, I live in an area where 3 or 4 Forest lads live and a few Leicester too. One of which is Mavididi. I've lost count of the amount of times i've bumped into the Forest lads at the shops or grabbing a coffee, on multiple occasions too. I've never once seen Mavididi.

His whole on pitch attitude and presence just screams recluse, very much a reluctant talent I think.

You could be right. He doesn't seem to have many footballing instincts.

I wouldn't say he's naturally talented so much as having enough physical attributes that are picked out early by academies.

That will only take you so far (though I'm sure he's already earned a fortune) but he doesn't seem able to read a game or actually make much happen, other than solo efforts from distance which occasionally successful, but increasingly less so!

When he does go, I'll always remember the goal and celebration by him v Birmingham away I think.

That game was pretty much the highlight of his career with us. Struggling to think of another decent game he had for us.

Bin him off to Middlesbrough for 5-7M and pick Abdul Malik from Borehamwood for 1.5M

I don't think we'd need to replace him.

I would rather spend that money on a centre back, central midfielder or striker.

Right now the squad looks like this without Mavididi;

Bristric

Alves Chaplin Burns

Braybrooke Skipp

McFarlane Souttar Okoli Joseph

Stolarcyzk

Reid

Watson Cullen Howell

Page Choudhury

Thomas Faes Gray Aluko

McCarthy

I think we already have short term with HH being brought in to release Alves to play left.

Would be surprised if Mavididi is still here by the Burton game, I think the only reason we have hit the button on Howell is because he's out the door.

im with you, we dont really need to replace Mavididi if we(i hope) get rid of him

because we've got Watson and Alves(as you pointed out), we could also play Woyo there as well(if he stays)

other positions need address more thana our wingers now, mainly cb and other striker

just hope someone comes in for mavididi because frankly hes offered nothing for the last 18 months

I can vaguely remember another where he was put through at half way line and ran on to score. Other than that ..............

We do, but I expect that Page and Souttar will leave which would leave us horribly short of options in those areas.

on Page, i think if he does leave the club will try and add something so he stays here on loan for the season, would be wise for him and utd(cos he isnt going to get gametime there)

I think we will see Mavididi, Faes and Souttar definitely go, maybe Page and Skipp.

We need 2 x CB, maybe 3, and a CM and CF minimum.

Don't see it personally,

I think they will want to look at him first and loan after Xmas at most.

I don't think there's a world where that three definitely goes.

I think Souttar will go, because it sounds like Sheffield United are keen.

I think Faes will go out on loan but I don't see anyone matching his wages.

I don't think Mavididi will actually go. I don't think there's a club that would pay what we'd want.

Page will likely go but Skipp definitely won't.

Huh? He had lots of decent games in his first season with us! lol

I do think he needs to go now, he is completely finished with us now and desperately needs a change.

Pretty confident about Mavididi, Faes and Souttar.

Why? Who would buy Mavididi or Faes?

Just reading between the lines.

Long time until the window closes some clubs will be desperate.

I think that Faes could potentially go on loan with us paying a portion of his wage but I don't see a scenario where Mavididi tempts anyone. Happy to be proven wrong of course lol

Never thought I'd say this but he's actually the player I want to leave the most out of the remaining squad. Even ahead of Faes. His attitude stinks, he slows attacks down, and now we have 4 decent wingers we don't need him at all.

He should have been sat on his arse most of last season watching Monga, instead of stinking the place out each week, and if that had of happened, we probably would have got more money for Monga, who would have played a lot more and made even more of a name for himself.

Imagine the headspace of a Rangers fan after last night and hearing your club wants Stephy Mavididi lol
