Well obviously he's a much, much better version of Winks, but their job in the team is the same. I mean Rodri won the best player of the world cup with a whopping 0 goals and 0 assists so how does that work?

 

I probably hate Winks more than you and he was pathetic on and off the pitch after Enzo left, but he was also excellent for most of the season we go promoted. If Cagliari have started the season well and he's been playing, I suspect he's been playing well. You can't tell that he hasn't been simply because he hasn't scored or set up goals, you'd have to actually watch him play. And who in their right mind wants to do that

By that logic, I guess Kante was a dud? Same with somebody like Rodri (who's a better comparison since he's playing the same role and also a complete knob)

God-awful comparison wirh Kanté, who was a defensive midfielder.

Kanté also cost us less than Winks, and contributed more in one PL season than the latter.
