Just been told 12m

Was all rudkin had to give them to take him off our hands.

Must rate as Rudkins best ever deal.

Surely not? Trolling right?  No Italian club would pay over 3m for a league 1 player that a club desperately wants to leave

I am pleased about this. No matter what type of player he has been for us, he has commanded wages that were way above his worth and I believe he has an attitude problem.

He needed to go and we need to start again. I am not sure about Faes as captain. He needs to go for the same reason.

If we can get him out and Vesty it will have been a good window with what has already been moved on.

Been giving this is a bit of thought, we paid £10m and 3 year contract for Winks, so roughly £3.33m per season in amortisation however after year one we gained promotion and instigated a one year extension option

At that time, his book value was £6.67m the club had two options open to it, one continue to amortise at £3.33m and effectively this summer have no outstanding book value or re-amortise over the revised 3 year term at £2.2m.

I do wonder if we chose to not reamortise and therefore even if we received a nominal fee it will be booked as profit and make it much easier to do a deal where the buying club can match or improve his current terms.

If I gave you one guess, would you think they did the right thing or…?

Would never have believed how wrong it would go after the first few months.

Might have to keep tabs on that win % when he's played. It was hilariously bad for us in the last two years. I can't imagine it'll exactly upturn much at Cagliari.

Good on him for calling it out. I bet he's getting absolute pelters from KPFC

Bizzare they are quiet, moved onto to having Foxes Trust post of notification to hammer.

I think we let him go on a free, we normally mention non-disclosed fee in our press releases, see Cartwrigths, Richards. Monga and El Khannouss on the club website.

On Winks no mention of it.

So I would say if was the first option you mentioned.

Had a great first season under Enzo, but then showed his true colours after Cooper left. One of a big bushel of rotten apples.

All I can do is repay the bile he came out with getting on the bus at Portsmouth - F**k off! Long commute to Hertfordshire from Sardinia 🤣

The biggest close season high used to be players coming in. Now it's getting rid of these overpaid prima donnas ............. Next!

Rotten to the core and if we did any research we would have known that.

Whoever believes we got £12m for him will be very wrong, I suspect he was on the list of players we told could leave for free.

Absolutely. Someone to have in the trenches with you certainly.

What a guy I hope he enjoys the commute from Herefordshire to wherever he's ****ed off to

The final rap sheet:

2 relegations.

3 managers fallen out with.

"Enzo I miss you".

Refusal to stay at the training ground a night a week.

Aperols when we got relegated.

Apparent refusal to play under Marti(?).

Telling the fans to **** off (once safely on the bus).

All round stinking attitude.

Anything I've missed?

How proud you are to have watched him play for us.
