'Course he will, he is only 19 right now. Sure, he's not as good as Rooney at this age, but not many people are.

Yeh i think he will be as Blue Arrow said he is only 19 and he is only going to get better.

He needs a couple more loan spells first I think before he is ready for the big time. But as time goes on, that kid will be special.

trouble is he has the wrong passport for Arsenal :( for one of the biggest clubs in the country their record since Wenger took over for bringing young English players into the game is very very poor imo

Thus the reason of my hate for Arsenal.

IMO if you wanna play in England, At least have so many English players in your team (Which YOU[as a team] have bought through the ranks)

Man Utd, Chelsea - They don't have that many English players but atleast they play English players. At Arsenal you are lucky to get 1 or 2(If your lucky) English players in the team consistanly.

Arsenal your French...Go to France to play your football!

And how many English players did WE have in our starting lineup at Reading the other night? A grand total of.......NONE!

Maybe we should apply to join the SPL - we might win a few games in that! :P

I agree, I think he'll have to move to make it big in the Premiership. He should move while he's hot property rather than wait for Wenger to give him a run, 'cos while there's French players in Arsenal's squad Ryan Smith hasn't got much hope.

He should take note of what happened to Stuart Taylor - once hailed the most promising English goalkeeper coming through the ranks, but stayed at Arsenal for too long and now he doesn't even get a game for Villa.

Another 3 years with us would be nice. :)

mid table prem team player till about 23 and may make it in a big club its hard to predict futures of football players. an injury can change everything

exactly just look at matty piper

Hopefully the Gunners may loan him out to us next season too.

Yeah he needs a good two/three years to mature at Leicester!!!!

Seriously though he'll only make it if someone teaches him to use his incredible ability to far greater effect.

At the moment he his final ball seems ill-judged for the situation. He also needs to become more two footed and to have more confidence to go at players despite the risk of losing the ball.

Finally he should take spells in the middle of the attack. Get him used to hurting defences and to what sort of balls strikers like best. He could have murdered the Reading centre-half given chance but instead stayed wide and fed balls onto his head.

He needs to stay injury free and to be playing regularly in a winning side.

So far his main problem is the last of these requirements... :P

Chelski have spent £40 million on SWP, Bridge and Johnson and ruined all their careers

Man U have Rooney, Ferdinand and Smith, combined total of £65 million

Arsenal have bugger all to spend and still have Cole and Campbell and have given opportunities to the likes of Bentley, Pennant and Hoyte, it's not Arsenal's fault they haven't taken them

Apart from maybe SWP (who hasn't been given a chance really) - the others simply aren't as good as the foreigners who play in the same position.

Farreira or Johnson, I'd rather have Farreira. Del Horno/Gallas or Bridge? Del Horno for me.

I thought Johnson was a really exciting player when he burst on the scene, I think his confidence has been destroyed by Mourinho.

I agree about Bridge though.

But Mourinho also sold Parker and replaced him with Tiago and then Essien, I'd say Parker is as good as those two.
