Head Honcho Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 The only thing that surprises me about that list is that, that sad excuse for a football pundit Mclintock won more then 10 % of his games in charge. Not just the worse manager we had, but quite possibly the worst manager of all time.
Louise Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Hmm. I make Levein's percentage as 28.
Sly Posted 4 January 2006 Author Share Posted 4 January 2006 Hmm. I make Levein's percentage as 28.79 Maybe my total doesn't include all CL's games. I toook the info from soccerbase.
Disillusioned Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Lies, damn lies and statistics. For how many seasons were the incumbents at the helm and how many of the matches played under their stewardship were at top level? Taking these factors into consideration, Matt Gillies figures are probably the best.
Hitesh Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Can we compare these to other manager that are being speculated to take over IF CL does go?????
l444ry Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Peter Taylor 35%. Martin O'Neill 38%. What a useless waste of space this is!!!!

Not just the worse manager we had, but quite possibly the worst manager of all time. He took over a team in sharp decline, not unlike Dave Bassett in 2001. I personally think Taylor was worse. He wrecked a successful team and blew millions on players who couldn't give a toss about our club or us. The fact that Taylor's present club, a Div 4 outfit just TWO seasons ago, now lie above us in the league, speaks volumes about the inadequacies of our current manager! DIDN'T! It's been the story of our season so far. And while the manager persists with dodgy players and no tactics, that story will not change!
