Ajax Treesdown Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Well obviously JoBeck lives there, but who has been to this amazing city??? I went last April for 5 nights and it was so fantastic that i'm off again in four weeks for 7 nights. Anyone been or been to any other amazing cities?
The People's Hero Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Hong Kong. Breathtaking and so so different. Going out there at the end of March and have tickets for the rubgy super 7s!
Steven Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Bangkok. Hot,smelly, sweaty and one of the top cities in the World.
The People's Hero Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Will be visiting Bangkok next year, my sister in law is Thai.
Bluefoxtim Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 I've been to a fantastic city, a once in a life time opportunity, Leicester.
Leicester_Mad Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Went for 5 days in February/March last year and was one of the best 5days in my lifetime. Did pretty much everything. We also had 6inches of snow in one night 1000 posts
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 New York is the best city in the world, the atmosphere there is alike nowhere else.
The People's Hero Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Don't go at summer. Someone once told me.
Head Honcho Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Lived in Manhattan in the 80s and been back about 10 times since, the last time being for my 40th Birthday. Although I love it there, I prefer San Francisco and Washington DC.
Guest Gist Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Not been any top cities I do really like London though
Steven Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Not been any top cities I do really like London though Best City in the World.
Head Honcho Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Florida is awesome!! Florida is bigger then England, so which part ? Please don't say Orlando!!
placidcasual Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Florida is awesome!! Florida is full of old people. And it is way too hot.
Muz Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Brighton is awesome!! The people there are so friendly and some of the gay club are off the hook. Oh Dear
C-man Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Went New York last february for a week. Loved every minute of it. Stayed in Manhattan and it was fookin class
Matt Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 New York is the best city in the world, the atmosphere there is alike nowhere else. Best City in the World. Melbourne, Australia is the Best City in the World!
Steven Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Melbourne, Australia is the Best City in the World! Not even as good as Sydney.
Matt Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Not even as good as Sydney. I like Sydney and (IMO) is a very close second to Melbourne but I find Sydney abit to busy. However I have family in Melbourne so when I go I am close to the city but outside of the city, I have no family in Sydney and whenever I have been I have stayed in a hotel in the middle of the city, so if I stopped in Sydney out of the middle of the city I may enjoy Sydney even more not sure, but I Melbourne!
C-man Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Melbourne, Australia is the Best City in the World! I'm off touring Australia and New Zealand this summer, should spend a birra time in Melbourne, got some good friends there, but i've never been there before. I'm stopping over in tahiti, anyone been there?
The People's Hero Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 London is a good city for entertainment, sightseeing, culture, clubbing etc but I'd disagree that it's the best in the world. Having said that, I consider myself lucky to live within an hour's commute
Matt Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 I'm off touring Australia and New Zealand this summer, should spend a birra time in Melbourne, got some good friends there, but i've never been there before. I'm stopping over in tahiti, anyone been there? I'm off there this coming Christmas and New Year, should be there for just under 3 weeks I think. (3 Trip there )
Head Honcho Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Brighton is awesome!! The people there are so friendly and some of the gay club are off the hook. By the looks of it 2 weeks in New York would be cheaper then a week in Brighton. Lucky if you can get a room for under £100 and most of them have a minimum 2 night stay. Not very friendly if you aks me
