Keep dreaming that I'm sneaking into the KP without a ticket and I'm walking near the advertising hoardings looking for a seat feeling a great amount of panic :/

I did dream I was at the top of the San Siro and John Terry retired at the same time lol

I used to always dream about getting on a purple plane (like a commercial airline one) and everyone on the plane knew they were going to die, (would never go on. A

Has anyone else here suffered from 'sleep paralysis'? Its where part of your brain is still asleep, but part is awake (or something like that). Basically, you are aware you are awake, but part of you still thinks its dreaming but are unable to move, totally paralysed.

One of the times I have had it, my eyes were open and I could see across the room, and could see a black outline of a figure at the other end, but was unable to say anything, or move at all until I literally used all my strength to toss myself out of the bed and snap out of it. Sounds crazy haha. Apparently its one way of accounting for 'UFO visitors', ie. Seeing the dark outline across the room. And in Victorian times it was beleived the devil/succubus was sitting on your chest...or something like that. Maybe Im just a freak that its happened to me about 4 times lol

I've had that! It was scary as fvck!

Was so Tired, but when every time I went to sleep i couldn't see anything, but was concious, so panicked really bad and kept having to really force myself to wake up, in the end had to get up for about 10 minutes to stop it

Does anyone get one where they trip over and wake up suddenly?

Yes, like a situation where you are falling down (on a rollercoaster) and I tend to shudder sharply.

Not good.

I get that whilst nodding off to MOTD

I had a dream I was fighting a goat last night. It was lunging toward me and butting me so I just kept on punching and kicking it. It was a proper fight to the death.

The wife is limping a bit today, coincidentally.

Yeah used to happen fairly regularly, would wake up in the middle of the night normally after a fairly vivid and unpleasant dream, sometimes when I have forced myself to wake up and I open my eyes but I still haven't gained control of my body yet, and I can't move, and I do just have to force myself to roll over to snap out of it. It is not pleasant but not uncommon or anything to be worried about.

Question does any else have backstories in their dreams? I will meet a character, dreamt up, but they are always more real than that, it will be like I have dreamt them before and they come with all these sort of memories, and the dream will feel like part of a much larger longer plot. I've asked others about it, and they look at me like I'm weird.

The other thing that often happens in my dreams is I will wake up in my dream and be convinced I am awake, but I'm actually still dreaming and my day gets weirder until I twig I'm dreaming, then wake up again, but still dreaming. Is that just me?

Absolutely horrible. Similar thing happened to me for the first time the other day. I woke up, and was wide awake but my left leg was completely dead, like I couldn't move it at all. I tried to stand up but it was just a dead weight and couldn't stand properly unless I held my left leg up with my hands. Lasted for about 10 minutes before it finally went back to normal. Is that sleep paralysis as well?

Sounds more like you slept funny on your leg and it went numb, with sleep paralysis you can't move anything and it can feel like something is sitting on you holding you down. It normally manifests itself with a disturbing dream, not sure if the disturbing dream causes the sleep paralysis or the paralysis causes the dream.

I have an occasionally recurring dream where a plane passes overhead (it's only 60 or so metres above my head) and crashes into the houses a few hundred feet away. I actually feel quite shaken when I awake from it.

Very odd one last night, I've looked it up and it seems like sleep paralysis. In my dream I was in my bed at uni, after a night out, and was in an extra part of my room that doesn't exist, really really scared of something coming after me. Just as I went to bed in the dream, my dad walked through the door, and then I realised I was dreaming, but couldn't move or open my eyes for about 10 seconds, almost felt a bit like I was in a coma. During these 10 seconds I was shitting myself as well because I felt something next to me (thinking it was my dad but he's in Liverpool) and didn't have a clue what it was. Woke up and nothing was there.

Went back to sleep and had a very vivid dream of a bus going over a cliff and me on it, during the whole fall I was convinced it was real, bricking it, before I woke up in a sweat. Had nothing to drink last night haha so don't have a clue what's wrong with me!
