Thracian Posted 23 February 2006 Posted 23 February 2006 I'd have to have Sylla and Kalac in there somewhere.

Master Fox Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 I had actually forgotten that Nathan Blake had even played for us. What happened to him...?? Trev Benjamin was rubbish, but I will never forget his goals against Derby & Forest...!
Micky Singh Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 GK - Kalac DR - Alan Rodgers DC - Brian Carey DC - Nicky Mohan DL - Jordon 'Donkey' Stewart MR - Mommo Sylla MC - Junior Lewis MC - Lee Marshall ML - Jamie Lawarence FC - Ashley Ward FC - Akinbiyi

Jonesy_rules Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 we're actually in the "crap teams" book! 2000/01 team i believe!
Master Fox Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Yeah we are! Peter Taylor’s team! It goes on about him spending £25million on players and there fans mystified as to how cr@p we were!
Bob666 Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 must be a starting place for Tom English - utter bollo........
Durnerz Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Rab Douglas John Curtis Jacob Laursen Nikos Dabizas Alan Rogers Lee Marshall Junior Lewis Momo Sylla Joe Hamill Ade Akinbiyi Lee Morris
Bilko Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Anyone remember Norman Leet...nice guy but... And Lammie Robertson, possibly McLintock's finest acquisition! Don't agree with whoever put in Darren Eadie, cracking player but never fit and had to retire early...
Stuliasz Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Am surprised at Dabizas getting in so many people's worst defences. Never thought he was that bad.
The People's Hero Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Jimmy Willis was pretty shit. As was Gary Coatsworth. I was young back then though, so I dunno if that is actually true. I used to really like Steve Thompson, Steve Agnew and David Oldfield.
Bilko Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Willis actually turned out ok...wasn't he MOM in one of those big games back then? As for Coatsworth, yes he was crap, but you would still call him Mr Coatsworth (well 'ard!). Didn't both come from Darlo with little?
Fishy Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Anyone remember Norman Leet...nice guy but... And Lammie Robertson, possibly McLintock's finest acquisition! Don't agree with whoever put in Darren Eadie, cracking player but never fit and had to retire early... spot on Bilko.....whoever said Eadie was crap must be closet Forest and mighty Norman Leet was awful
Fishy Posted 24 February 2006 Posted 24 February 2006 Willis actually turned out ok...wasn't he MOM in one of those big games back then? As for Coatsworth, yes he was crap, but you would still call him Mr Coatsworth (well 'ard!). Didn't both come from Darlo with little? you're on the money again Cumbrian Fox.......Willis was MOM against the shaggers in the play off final....
vanfox12 Posted 25 February 2006 Posted 25 February 2006 Any Leicester Side that has been relegated has to be included in crappest league teams ever. The Mclintock team of the late 70's has to be the worst. Finishing bottom when Forest win their first championship has to rank as the most embarrassing.
Thin_King Posted 25 February 2006 Posted 25 February 2006 GK: Rab Douglas.... Nuff said! DR: Gary Coatsworth DC: Franck Rolling (Every header was a diving one) DC: Jimmy "the penalty cert" Willis DL: John Curtis ( dont even rememba him down here) MR: Paul Brooker or Momo "Lazy" Sylla (ass) MC: Junior Lewis (how can he say he was a premiership player!! oh - peter taylor bought him, mmm) MC: Lee Marshall (Taylor again???) ML: Kevin Ellison (Another taylor masterstroke - so good he never made the 1st team!) FW: Ade Akinbiyi (oh whaddaya know - Peter "the talent scout" Taylor - again!) FW: Elvis Hammond (how on earth hes worth £250,000 i dont kno, panic buy) Have too agree, Agnew, Oldfield, Phillpott, Gee (Brian Littles wife!! hee hee), Ormondroyd (rememba his golas against arsenal!!), Lowe, Whitlow, Poole - all legends in there own right, and corica was good at city too. Forget all these anyway - could be worse, remember when Forest signed the next Allesandro Del Piero in Andrey Silenzi??? !!
Ultra Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 spot on Bilko.....whoever said Eadie was crap must be closet Forest 2 goals in 50 games though! Even Akinbiyi was better than that.. Now who's the closet tree...
LCFC UK Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 I dont ever remember Steve Corica being that bad or steve agnew for that matter, and even tho ormonroyd was quite possibly the most ugly person known to man he still chipped in with some vital goals and was always good to have around when laying off for joachim Corica and Agnew were great players when at city!, lee phillpot was not bad either.
ithuriel Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 eadie wasnt a striker , he was a left winger. more than good enough for the PL but injury prone. though taylor did not know how to use him. still remember one game , bradford i think over xmas , when he put impey on the left wing and eadie on the right we ended up losing that game this was before our great losing streak after the wycombe match.
Thracian Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 2 goals in 50 games though! Even Akinbiyi was better than that.. Now who's the closet tree... Sylla's not got any in 30-odd!
Bilko Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 2 goals in 50 games though! Yes but it was not Eadie's main job to score the goals, he was a class player (l believe he was an England U-21 international). MON paid a lot of money for him and rarely got it wrong. Don't worry Ultra, l'll question your judgement but would never call you a tree!! Even Akinbiyi was better than that.. Now who's the closet tree...
