Arnar Gunlaugsson and Jon Stevenson

I've played against the latter, he isn't all that....and he's a bit of a willy puller too off the pitch.

Hence him now being at Cambridge City.

agree, we should never have got rid of arnar when we went down, he would of been sensational in division one. Jon was never given a chance, I don't think he ever started, yet he still scored 2 times. I heard he had a attitude problem.

least he is still playing...i would love it if he came back. MON treated him like shite. Anyone remember his hatrick against Arseholes in the reserves.

Arnie was amazing. He was my one of my favourite players for years, he always got the crowd buzzing. Not sure who he's playing for, he was up in Scotland not long ago playing for Dundee Utd.

The list is enless but the most under rated city player ever is

JIMMY Willis (god)

I actually work with Stevensons old man and he says he has a huge attitude problem Hasn't spoke to him properly for about two years he really pisses his dad off as he had a great oppurtunity to succeed but fooked himself because he couldn't be bothered to put the effort in shame really

I loved Arnar too, although I can understand why he didn't make a success of it here. He was a flair player that MON didn't appreciate, and he did give the ball away far too much.

That goal against Villa in the FA cup was class. Also that curling shot against Derby which crept inside the post to give us a 2-1 home win in 2000. :D

Waahooo, sat right behind that corner that season. Great for his free kick too :D

A cult hero in the mouled of Rooster Russell.

I saw Stef Oakes play for Notts County against Shrewsbury Town today.

He had a good match, deep in midfield and pasing the ball all around, orchestrating their attacking moves.

He put in the corner for the first goal (it says on BBC that Palmer put it in, but he headed it down to Bolland to score, from Oakes' corner), and it was his shot which the Shrews keper spilled for Hurst to tap in.

Mike Whitlow was also plying, he had a solid match at the back.

Rob Ullathorne didn't play because he's injured, nor did O'Grady, but he was on the bench.

Full of old/current Leicester lads, Notts County squad :)

Who remembers when Impey scored down the family end then kissed an old grannie on the cheek!!!

Yeah, I think it was against Boro. Imps was brilliant in O'Neill's last season with us. He used to get to the byline every time and whip balls in.

He was the only player that seemed to improve under Taylor too :o

Gunnlaugson was brilliant, shame we didnt keep him, also there was Ian Marshall, slow as anything but always in the right place at the right time, who could forget the permed mullet

Yeah, he was awful.

I wouldnt be surprised if he gave up football.

What a waste of space he was!

Ian Marshall is a cult hero - the hattrick against Derby and his goals against Fulham and Athletic Madrid will never be forgotten!
