hairy Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Its been over 4 years since he released Kings and Queens. Nothing on Twitter, Facebook or his site. Come on Jamie pull your finger out!
Rocket-Ron Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Funnily I read something about him the other day but can't remember what where or when. My contribution to this thread is shocking sorry Will try to hunt it out... Edit : Found it http://noisey.vice.com/en_uk/blog/jamie-t-isnt-dead-hes-in-the-studio-2014-new-album
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 This is fantastic news. Gave Panic Prevention a spin the other day and it reminded me just how bloody good the guy is.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 OH YES OH YES OH YES http://www.nme.com/news/jamie-t/78261
Ric Flair Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Still listen to this sod every week. So Lonely Was The Ballad never tires, it's so under-rated. I'm tempted to go to Pompey for that gig he's just released.
Haydos Posted 3 July 2014 Posted 3 July 2014 Sheeet, not listened to Jamie for aaaages, great to see this thread pop up. Panic Prevention is an incredible album, this guy should have been massive. So Lonely Was The Ballad and Ike and Tina are probably my two favourites. Gonna have to give it a listen again soon.

I fancied the Liverpool effort but 70 boys return dampened my desire. Panic Prevention gets played near enough every other day but I forgot how good Kings & Queens was as an album in all, Stick n Stones and Spider's Web are both 10 on 10.
Unabomber Posted 4 July 2014 Posted 4 July 2014 Love him, shame he hasn't done more in recent years. I saw him in Leeds a few years back and it was great, really great in fact.

Unabomber Posted 15 July 2014 Posted 15 July 2014 Interesting. Hated the first minute or so and it sounded so different from his usual shit, but then it grew on me and I was enjoying it from about the half way point.

I know what you mean after listening to it a few times. Obviously he's a bit older now and less of scally but I'm still a sucker for the upbeat tales-of-youth type stuff he used to make. Will see how the album goes.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 July 2014 Posted 17 July 2014 I can't stop listening to Don't You Find, great effort.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 July 2014 Posted 31 July 2014 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
