A couple of years ago, I stayed over at a mate's house. Came down to breakfast at about 9.00 a.m. to find him and his missus sitting there, eating their breakfast in front of E4 - watching the housemates sleep. He claimed they found it relaxing. And Mrs Swedging used to be annoyed at when I used to watch Belgian Big Brother when we lived in Belgium since at the time neither of us had more than F-all Flemish. But there was a mad dope-fiend and one of the tasks was to pump air (on an exercise bike) to some poor sod in a diving suit at the bottom of a swimming pool. Made David Blaine's latest stunt look relaxing - can you imagine much scarier than relying on some permanently doped up hippy for your breath?
