6 for everyone except....

Beckham 3 can't captain, can't pass, can't tackle, can't run, and certainly can't head wasted every free kick and set piece imo it's time people woke up and realised that he hasn't scored from a free kick for 4years and give others a chance!!

I am sure people will have a go saying how wonderfull he is but I took my Beckham tinted specs off a long time ago he was a waste of a player yesterday!!

Hargreaves 8 excellent game after everything that has been said and written about him

Joe Cole out of 10... 12 best player my a mile brilliant to watch our player of the tournament!!

all the players deserve great credit for having to work with that useless overpaid excuse for a manager

he's sent our three lions out ;having first kicked all their teeth in :angry::angry:

he should receive a public flogging for his inexcusable squad selection

I think the Joe Cole and Crouch marks are a little high.:unsure::whistle::ph34r:

Hargreaves is the most naturally holding player we have. I was hoping that Lampard would get booked.

i was hoping that sven would be arrested for fraud and a proper england coach would be allowed to reselect the squad

JT - 7 - A colossus, they never really broke him down.

Is this the same JT that for the second goal jumped under the ball and mised his clearing header. On top of the first goal where he had the chance to clear the ball and with a shocking piece of control gave the ball back to sweden who got a corner and then scored.

Put two players around Robinson and our defence goes to pot at set pieces.

Robinson 6

Carragher 5.25 (shocking distribution)

Terry 5 (At fault for two goals

Ferdinand 6 (To many long balls instead of looking short)

Ashley Cole 6 (steady)

Beckham 5.75 (brought nothing)

Lampard 5.75 (brought nothing)

Hargraves 7 (good performance, did all you can ask for his role)

Joe Cole 8 (outstanding first half, got marked out of it in the 2nd)

Owen 0 (Oh dear)

Rooney 6.25 (steady, odd touch of class)

subs: Crouch 6

Gerrard 7

Campbell 6

Well we wouldn't have scored our two goals, probably wouldn't have drawn nor topped the group unbeaten were it not for JoeCo's contribution and the little fella did play himself to exhaustion which is more than can be said for some.

But you could be right. After awarding so many unusually low marks perhaps on reflection I felt like cheering myself up and expressing some appreciation. Ironically, before reading your comment, I was thinking I liked aspects of Babylon's assessment - and a few others - better than my own.

Is nobody else concerned that England couldn't beat the worst Sweden side in living memory?

Robinson - looked poor

Carragher - should be at centre half

Ferdinand - did okay, but pulling his groin when he wasn't stretched during the first half raises questions about how he approached the game.

Terry - good job he is there

A. Cole - doesn't support Joe Cole enough and his passing is Tiatto-esque

Beckham - lol what a joke he is. His fault for the first equaliser he didn't even get close to Allback in the 6 yard box, criminal.

Lampard - started off well faded badly because England were poor.

Hargreaves - tremendous.

J. Cole - great strike and then great cross for SG, the rest of it was mediocre he need to sustain that level of performance for 90 minutes.

Owen - shouldn't have been there anyway, living off past glories and I feel for him as he isa genuine guy and not an obnoxious nonce like some of his team mates.

Rooney - lol shouldn't be there he isn't fit and died after 25 minutes against better but still poor opposition. His temper is there for all to see he has the word liability stamped across his forehead.

Crouch -

Gerrard - good goal

Campbell -

This game was no better than a Fulham vs. Blackburn Premiership affair and England never tested Sweden inside their penalty area during the first half. Dreadful in the second and lucky not to lose 4 or 5 goals.

Jesus! You must be the eternal pessimist!! First of all, a Swedish side with Larsson in it, will, per definition, NEVER be the worst in living memory. Secondly, Rooney shouldn't be there? You're loco, mate. The injury was a media hype, and he will be England's main threat for the rest of the tournament.

I'd bet you'd still moan about him and the rest of the team if they won 3-0 against Brazil in the final... <_<

Eh?

Sweden are crap, so are England and Rooney clearly isn't fit, he puffed his way through 35 minutes against T&T and last night after 25 minutes he was buggered again his reaction at getting subbed wasn't anger at Sven it was at himself for not being up to it just now.

Sweden are by no means crap. A crap team doesn't fight back twice in the same match. Unless of course Brazil and Argentina are 'average'; in that case I agree that Sweden are 'crap'. Rooney showed quite a few touches of class and had he had the rub of the green he could've easily have gotten a goal or two. The more minutes he racks up, the better he will get, and if he keeps injury-free up until the Ecuador game, he should provide the quality needed to see them off.

Not really, I give OH a 7 for puffing around for 90 minutes and Cole gets a 7 for a goal and an assist...but vanishing for most of the second half.

I've got NVQ's for assessment you know!

Sweden are poor in comparison to any time in the last 20 years or so, Larsson or no Larsson. Brazil have been very disappointing thus far, but it is no suprise when Nike insist on the starting line-up including fat boy fat ( ). Argentina and Spain have looked far superior to any other nation to date.

Rooney did what exactly, one possible chance but he was well marshalled by Teddy Lucic, Teddy Lucic for christ sake!!!!! That apart he disappeared and ran out of gas, don't believe the hype of Team England and Super Sven; the lad isn't fit, neither was poor Owen, and now he wants to play midfielders up front

As for Ecuador, they will be rubbing their hands, get the ball out wide and swing it in and chances will occur. You'd think England would win but given their 3 performances to date and their record in 2005/2006 you do wonder.
