DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Interesting... at least you guys know how to cross! Bloody Viduka has cross-o-phobia. 14 yellow and 2 red for Portugal! I believe the force will be with you tonight.
Steven Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Team confirmed, 4-5-1, Neville's back, Hargreaves in midfield, Carrick dropped.
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Dying on our arses. 4-5-1 is not working. Rio hoofing to Rooney is NOT going to win us the World Cup. Walcott or Lennon, please, FFS.
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Alternatively, Crouch for a midfielder - go 4-4-2 and give Rooney more opportunity to find the ball FACING the goal.... Just do SOMETHING, Sven!....0-0, all to play for!
MC Prussian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 This one has PENALTY SHOOTOUT written all over it. Nobody wants to risk something, reminds me of the Switzerland - Ukraine matchup, where both coaches want to proof the other what a great tactician they are... Blech...
MC Prussian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Yeah well, this red card is total bullshit, never in the world was the kick intentional... Very, very harsh. Bloody referees.
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 **** OFF! Just **** OFF. Hang on, he's put a foot in on the player - had to go under the current pissing stupid rules. I feel really sorry for him. No wonder he was frustrated - stupid position he's had to play in. Come on England - dig in!!!!
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 'kin hate the Portugal team. Divers, cheaters and cry babies, the lot.
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Unleash the 'Cott! I want to punch Maniche and Ronaldo in the face. I want another beer!
Nationwider Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 C'mon England. Great effort in the last 20 mins... ...keep in going...
MC Prussian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Thanks alot Wayne you tithead You should rather say thanks to the referee for that - and the great Portuguese actor who fell down on the ground so easily.
Ricey Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Gutted. I feel pyhiscally sick. When Ronney went off I accepted we were out but we battled and my belief grew and grew. You can't fault the penalties, Gerrards wasn't great but I've seen many worse. I could kill Cristiano Ronaldo right now, why can't he win fair and square? Why does he have to be crafty and out of order? I can't beileve we are out AGIAN to Portugal on Penatlies. You have to blame Sven, not for what happened after Rooney got sent off but before that, we were passionless and dreadful when Sven promised a big performance was coming. **** off Sven, you've done a lot good but your mentality has killed our hopes yet again.
Ricey Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 You should rather say thanks to the referee for that - and the great Portuguese actor who fell down on the ground so easily. Rooney was sent off for the little push on Ronaldo which is pathetic, it's not even a booking.
MC Prussian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Rooney was sent off for the little push on Ronaldo which is pathetic, it's not even a booking. Hell yeah, imagine that: Rooney was even facing two (!!) Portuguese players and was making his way through them... Never in the world was that a red card.
