Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 I always presumed it was better to have windows open in hot weather but I've consulted 4 people in the past few days and 3 of them have said I'm just letting the heat in. Discuss (or ignore).

Maybe if you started being less helpful they might bump you up the list - conversely, you could be super helpful (solving IT problems and assisting in theatre).

MC Prussian Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 Windows open. In the evenings & at night. I like it especially at night when you got outside air coming in, also during Summer tempests when it's raining and it pushes that special fresh smell & cold wind into the house... Love it!
Daggers Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 I find the burglars treading on my head as they climb in slightly annoying.

Alexikokopops Posted 6 July 2006 Posted 6 July 2006 I was told recently it's better to keep everything closed. I was doing this anywayt (through sheer laziness) and my house is chilly as. It helps that it's made from stone though.
