I'm planning on running a Championship prediction league where people are put into leagues and play fixtures against each other. For example. If 24 people enter. I'll split people into 3 leagues of 8. Every weekend the people in the leagues will play a fixture against another person in the league. Whoever scores the most points win's the fixture and gets 3 points. A draw 1 aswell. There will goal difference dependant on how much one person wins. So people will be predicting against each other week in week out. Which could be of interest to a lot of people hopefully. It could help prove who knows the most about championship football on this forums. I will also run a cup competition where every one can play every one no matter what league they are in. What do people think of this idea? Also would people be interested in entering. I will post fixtures each week and after every weekend a league table of each league. It will last the whole season. As its not too much work for me as i'm a student with a lot of free time. So people let me know what ya think and if ya interested in entering. Bigneville....

Sounds good mate, but a lot of people have started these games and then got bored of it or stopped updating it half way through! Great idea if you're willing to put the time and effort in though.

I see the concern but ive been running dream teams for the last 4 or 5 years of my life for my mates and a couple for the sports team i play in. So i am used to the time and effort. So it shouldnt be a problem to me at all.

I've not set this up to take over from bertfox. Just something that could add some inter-forum competition. Whereas bertfox's is just the leicester games with first goalscorers..i believe...

I know you wasn't slating it mate. You was probably just wondering saying what a few people where thinking and i wanted to clear up that my league is not a replacement league for bertfox...

Collymore Posted 19 July 2006 Posted 19 July 2006 If this hasn't been mentioned already, Will we have to PM someone our prediction? Otherwise if it's posted on the site for public viewing, then the opponent could just match the prediction gaining a draw! You'll need one massive inbox!

It will be a Pm or an email address dependant on the amount of people who enter. If its less than 40. Then it will be PM's because i can hold 50 Pm's in my box. If its more than 40. People will have to email my address. Does that answer your question mate?
