bigneville Posted 10 July 2006 Posted 10 July 2006 What time of the year will it be held? I heard its in out winter time. Where ya hear that? Where is it in 2010? Is it South Africa or is that the next olympics?
Wils Posted 10 July 2006 Posted 10 July 2006 If its in the winter it will be half way through the domestic season, they wont have that?
Gamesmaster Posted 10 July 2006 Author Posted 10 July 2006 It's in our summer, which is the South African Winter. How hot is their winter?
Tomassi Posted 10 July 2006 Posted 10 July 2006 its if stays blow 10 degrees we will win it unless iceland qualify
Daggers Posted 10 July 2006 Posted 10 July 2006 I think we'll win it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA Well done Foxfanatic, as believable as me telling you that there was a character called Foxfanatix in one of the Asterix books
Ultra Posted 10 July 2006 Posted 10 July 2006 I think we'll win it! Depends on who we have in the squad and who the manager is. And first of all we have to make sure we qualify!

Jay Posted 11 July 2006 Posted 11 July 2006 http://weather.iafrica.com/ shows that current weather is about 22 close to what it is here during our summer!! although I have been reading plenty of rumours lately that FIFA are getting very angry with the progress the South Africans are making and that it could actually be moved to Australia in the near future
Old Fossil Posted 11 July 2006 Posted 11 July 2006 God! A poster who actully knows something about football! Yes, South Africa is in deep doo-doo over the World Cup. Good to see the ANC keeping alive the good old African tradition of bribery and corruption (Sports Ministry officials swiping the funds for stadium and infrastructure development). And good to see White Liberals, PC and stupid as ever, willing them on to do it and pretending not to notice as the whole country slides ever so gently into the abyss. Unlike the Olympics, you need between 12-15 high standard stadia to host a World Cup. Australia is unlikely to come up with that in two years (the official FIFA deadline). The country most likely to meet that deadline would be...guess who?

Maybes Posted 14 July 2006 Posted 14 July 2006 Africa is full of many diseases. I would be scared to go there.
hairy Posted 14 July 2006 Posted 14 July 2006 Africa is full of many diseases. I would be scared to go there. Europe is full of diseases too. Anyone know what the time difference is to SA? I remember David Mellor saying we would all be getting up in the middle of the night if it was in SA but when you look at a globe they seem to be close to our time zone. And yes I know Mellor is a ****.
MC Prussian Posted 14 July 2006 Posted 14 July 2006 South Africa is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Time. (Edit: 1 hour in the Summer)

Well, that information is available for free on the web: World Time Zones I just can't understand how in the age of technology, multimedia and the internet, some people still insist they know it better...
