Phube Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 lets bang the high ball up to our big lads up front Hey it worked last season..... oh yeah... :pinch:
ashwj Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 well what did we expect playong 6-2-2, not had one decent attack and put 0 effective crosses in. surprise, surprise.
Northants Fox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Stearman sounds rusty. I think they all are at the Moment, hopefully it'll improve second half
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Stearman sounds rusty. Mmm... too bad Low isn't in the subs either
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 well what did we expect playong 6-2-2, not had one decent attack and put 0 effective crosses in. surprise, surprise. And that 6 has been so effective!
Northants Fox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 First impressions and all that <_< My impression of that half........
OBO Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 After that goal my heart is in my mouth every time the ball goes into the box, Henderson still doesn't look too confident to me Let's have a better second half then, COME ON LEICESTER!!
Stevosevic Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 i havnt got a good word to say about any of the lads today, all totally crap! hopefully some of our fans will wake up now and realise play-offs is totally out of our reach.
securedfox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Rob will get them playing second half:thumbup: I'd bet your house on it
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Rob will get them playing second half:thumbup: I'd bet your house on it Poor bastard will be homeless.
Northants Fox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Rob will get them playing second half:thumbup: I'd bet your house on it Don't cause you may find yourself Homeless
breaker7 Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Rob will get them playing second half:thumbup: I'd bet your house on it He better do ! Watching it and it seems we are desperately lacking any width. Tiatto and Maybury are not the right men for the job. Fryatt is doing OK but totally isolated... all optimism gone (there gets less and less each year) we look completely pedestrian !!! COME ON LEICESTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
securedfox Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Poor bastard will be homeless. Got the tent out already

COME ON LEICESTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you actually knew anything about tactics you'd see that they are pushing the wide midfielders inward to create space for the fullbacks to push on for the width you mentioned. It may not be working that well but for crying out loud, give them some credit!!!!
PortlandZorro Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Ian Hume's strength is running at players, yet we have the inability to give him a simple ball and he looks annonymous.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 "Stearman's been a bit... shaky, you might say"

It may not be working that well but for crying out loud, give them some credit!!!! OK OK calm down !! I do know a little about tactics, but thanks anyway. I'm also not the only one here saying we have now width - not one cross from the byline in the first half - as has already been pointed out. We can all sit here and say we are "trying" to win but that fact is we are playing sh*te and need to improve ! Now let me watch the 2nd half in peace !

As there are next to no wingers at the club, it is patently obvious that they have to find another way of creating the width.

Steven Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 What are the odds that we will be down to 10 men by the end.

Just dont rate Maybury and tiatiatiatto at all I'm afraid !
lookwhaticando Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Hammond for Hume I was expecting O'Grady to appear before Hammond this season.
