(When he's played) However, I don't think many people will care too much about him asking for a transfer if he continues to play like that. I hope you're right regarding Gemmill - While he does perhaps lend a calm head in midfield, a game usually bypasses him because he's slow and letharigic, and loses too many 50/50 challenges. We need bite in the centre to take games by the scruff of the neck. Dawson is the man for this, lets hope he gets his chance sooner or later... 43818[/snapback] Well Dublin came here with a reputation of being professional. Glad he's started to show that now...afterall most of us knew he was capable of doing a job for us. He was likely very aware of the fact that his stay wasn't working out, so I guess that was a reason for him to hint that he would move if he could. But now that he's getting regular footie, playing well, and that the mood in the camp is on the up, he can hopefully produce on a regular basis and rectify the early mishaps.. 43834[/snapback] The one positive note that can be taken from Dublin's latest performances is that if he keeps this up, then he might well find himself being targeted by one of the smaller premiership teams such as Norwich or Palace, which can only be a good thing for us. Ric Flair Posted 8 December 2004 Posted 8 December 2004 I always wonder what managers see in players like Dublin who have been shocking for the majority of the season and i've sussed it. Micky Adams used to say it alot and it's true, he'd say the players have been brilliant in training but when it comes to match days it all goes to pot. The reason why is because our defenders and strikers are playing against each other so no wonder why the manager rates all the players, I mean it's not going to be that hard for the strikers to put a few goals away past the likes of Dabizas who struggles to out jump Leon Knight and Heath or Dublin who are equally as bad. Managers should look at things from a fans point of view every so often.
