Manwell Pablo Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Hendo Kenton Stearman Paddy Mac Kisnorbo Low Porter Weso Williams Hume Fryatt Subs: Logan Nils Johnson Hughes O'Grady They way you set that out confuses ze ell out of me Bert me old china plate. I take it Low right wing Porter left wing? so who's playing right back and left back?
lcfc_jme Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 I'd like to see the following team, but I know it won't happen: Henderson Kenton (right-back) Paddy K Paddy Mac Nils Low (right-midfield) Williams Weso (to se how long he lasts when starting) Porter Hume O'Grady Subs: Logan, Stearman (been pretty poor so far this season apart from brief, short-lived spells), Johnson (bring him on when Weso is knackered), Hughes (done nothing special in the games he's played other than Ipswich),Fryatt (he needs a rest and it may give him the same effect it gave Hume)
lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Hendo Kenton (LB) Stearman (RB) Paddy Mac Kisnorbo Low (RW) Porter (LW) Weso Williams Hume Fryatt Subs: Logan Nils Johnson Hughes O'Grady I'd buy that.

It doesn't make sense any other way, really. (Unless your name is Craig Levein)
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Henderson Stearman Kenton McCarthy Kisnorbo Wesolowski Hughes Williams Porter Fryatt Hume Let's ****ing go for it. Encourage Porter and Hume to push wide and stay as high up the pitch as possible, engaging the opposition full-backs and running at them. Encouraging Hughes to make runs, Williams to spray the passes about and Weso to stay back and cover the defence. Either of Porter and Hume can track back when play is on their side of the pitch. O'Grady is alright but he's nothing particularly special and just encourages our centre-halves to hoof it every time. Let's give the useless bastards absolutely nothing to aim at in the air, pack the midfield with options and encourage Porter, Hume and Hughes to support Fryatt at every opportunity. Or 4-4-2 with Hume and Weso in central midfield. Or a tight 4-3-1-2 with Hume supporting Fryatt and O'Grady. Anything but Stearman, Johansson and McCarthy hoofing it to O'Grady all game and bloody two of Hughes, Williams and Johnson doing **** all to help out Fryatt yet again.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Weso and Williams for me in central midfield. Hughes to be given a kick up the backside and told what his role in the side actually *is* when selected.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Weso and Williams for me in central midfield. Hughes to be given a kick up the backside and told what his role in the side actually *is* when selected. I agree with your post, Hughes is below par, and Williams + Weso would compliment each other in central midfield, making a great pairing. (you just need to remove one of your posts mr tph sir ) And back to my A-Level studies I go..
Thracian Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Henderson; Stearman, McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Kenton; Gradel, Williams, Wesolwoski, Porter; Hume, O'Grady. I've adjusted my thinking over Hume in midfield because players will still be getting over Saturday, one major change is enough and Williams is, presumably fit. Subs: Logan, Nils, Johnson, Dodds, Fryatt. (Allowing me to go 4-3-1-2 with our three strikers and Porter on either flank if necessary).
Wils Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Henderson Stearman Mcarthy Kisnorbo Kenton Low Williams Weso Porter Hume Fryatt I normally go for Hughes instead of williams but feel hughes hasnt been playing well. Subs. Logan,Hammond,Ogrady,Hughes,Johnson
davieG Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 City are likely to be unchanged as Danny Tiatto (thigh) is not yet ready to return and fellow midfielder Gareth Williams is recovering from an ankle injury sustained in training. Source

Mort Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Henderson Maybury McCarthy Kisnorbo Kenton Low Weso Hume Porter O'Grady Hammond Subs: Dodds, Fryatt, Hughes, McAuley, Logan. ...wont happen, but pacey forwards, playing Hume as a centre forward (in front of Weso) and throwing Hammond up front with a very solid defence should see us good against Hull who you'd expect to be getting plenty of their guys behind the ball... as it is, I'd expect Hughes and Johnson rather than Hume and Weso in central midfield with Hume and O'Grady up front and no doubt the ever reliable (! ) Nissa on the left with Kenton on the right.

I swear before the Baggies game they reported that we had a clean bill of health <_< now all of a sudden Tiatto and Williams have re-injured themselves. looks like they were right this time Manwell From the OS Rob Kelly has confirmed that he will be without midfielder Gareth Williams for the Champioship clash against Hull City at the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday evening (7:45pm). Williams failed to make the 16 for Saturday's trip to the Hawthorns after he picked up an ankle knock in training in the run up to the game. And that injury will again keep him out of action as the Foxes look to bounce back from Saturday's 2-0 defeat at the hands of West Brom. Kelly said: "Gareth actually got an injury at the back end of last week, but we kept it fairly quiet. He has got a problem with his ankle and it looks like the Hull game will come too soon for him. But hopefully he will be okay by the weekend." Meanwhile, Kelly confirmed that Danny Tiatto was on the road to full recovery after missing the Wst Brom game with a thigh injury. He added: "Danny is now stepping up his training and he is also very close. We shall continue to monitor him closely. "But apart from those two players the squad is looking in reasonable shape." Tickets for the game remain on general sale, priced from just £20 for adult members and from £3 for under 12s. Don't forget - you can order your tickets online and collect them from the Walkers Stadium ticket office on the day of the game. CLICK HERE to place your order.

They said Tiatto was back for the Baggies game and he wasn't!!
Mark Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Bad news about Williams, looks like we'll be relying on the same midfield to create something, though it should happen a little more often at home. <_< ----------------- Henderson Kenton - McCarthy - Kisnorbo - Johansson Gradel - Hughes - Wesolowski - Porter -------------- Fryatt - Hume Subs: Logan, Stearman, Johnson, O'Grady, Chambers
Mort Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Gradel... ...Chambers If only, still i reckon we'll see a fair bit of Ashley next season.
