Thracian Posted 20 September 2006 Posted 20 September 2006 DERBY OUT TO DONCASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ain't life wonderful!
lildave3 Posted 20 September 2006 Posted 20 September 2006 Saturday, 26 August 2006 Man City 1-0 Arsenal Wednesday, 20 September 2006 Chesterfield 2-1 Man City Just another reason why i love football
Daggers Posted 20 September 2006 Posted 20 September 2006 What a winning goal for Chesterfield! ****ing amazing! Price on Psycho being the next manager out in the Premiership must have shortened tonight - love him, respect him...but he simply isn't getting them to perform like he did.
London_Fox Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 His post match interview gave no excuses but took all the blame on himself...never a good sign especially when he played a full strength team!!! DERBY, COV, FOREST all OUT OUT OUT...amazing news...does this make us the most succesful local team (let's ignore the league)?
The People's Hero Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Chesterfield are fairly local (Derbyshire) and they're performed very well.. Villa I suppose are fairly local, might be stretching it a bit.. but they're through too. Hasn't been the best start to the cup campaign for midlands sides though
Master Fox Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Does anyone know when the draw for the next round is?
davieG Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Does anyone know when the draw for the next round is? I could tell you but it's in the calendar.
Master Fox Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 I could tell you but it's in the calendar. It doesn't show it in there?
davieG Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 It doesn't show it in there? Look at the bottom of the Forum's Page here

Hasn't been the best start to the cup campaign for midlands sides though Well Chesterfield don't really count and Villa is too far away (don't piss on my proverbial bonfire here). I ask again...does that make us the best team in the area? p.s. Correct answer is "Yes, of course, LCFC are back on the map and soon we'll be the best side in the whole land"
Finnegan Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Oh Doncaster! (Oh Doncaster!) Is wonderful! (Is wonderful!) Oh Doncaster is wonderful!

Manwell Pablo Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Aren't Notts County still in it? lol and they had their highlights shown on ITV. I stayed up till 12:50 am and got nothing but a absloutley pointless interview with Jose Mourinho as my reward.
lcfc_jme Posted 21 September 2006 Author Posted 21 September 2006 What's wrong with that? Mourinho moans all the time, but he's quality to watch with some of the things he comes out with.. (removed as I've now found the thread)

(removed as I've now found the thread) ..........why have a interview with him instead of showing the rest of the Carling Cup goals... espically when he hasn't had a carling cup game and ITV have no right to the premier league what so ever. Pointless interview.

Pointless interview. Pointless interview, but if he's slating someone then it's comedy all the same. I think the Carling Cup goals were all being broadcast on SSN, as terrestrial tv channels aren't allowed to show sports anymore - they don't bid enough money apparently and more viewers could watch the sports on Sky

I can understand your frustrations, that 5 minute segment with Mourinho could clearly have shown highlights from at least 2 other games. Maybe the rubbish broadcasts is why ITV doesn't get the rights to football programmes v. often...?
London_Fox Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 Aren't Notts County still in it? Feels a bit Monty Python esque now BUT except for Villa, Chesterfield, Notts County and the League surely we are the best team in the area?

London_Fox Posted 21 September 2006 Posted 21 September 2006 what about the aquaducts? That's just silly...there is no team called the aquaducts!
