Holmgeir Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 According to Joey Gudjonsson in Icelandic media, he is seriously considering returning to England after three clubs including Leicester have contacted him about his availability. Joey has been collecting bench splinters at AZ Alkmaar since joining the club last summer and is apparently desperate to return to England. Leicester, Leeds and Stoke City are all interested in taking him on loan but he would prefer Leicester over the other two clubs.
Master Fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Get him back RK! But await the first post of 'We aint got no money'
Thracian Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 And if he came, Kelly would probably drop Weso or Williams rather than Hughes or Johnson!. Joey would be the "attacking" bit.
The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Absence makes the heart grow fonder.....
Maybes Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Yeeeeeah get him back over here. Could be the lift that we need right now!!
harpendenfox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 although I have to say the word 'loyal' is one I'd never use in connection with Joey. Bet the AZ management loves him. Itchy feet after two months
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 although I have to say the word 'loyal' is one I'd never use in connection with Joey. Bet the AZ management loves him. Itchy feet after two months You can hardly blame him he very rarely even makes the squad.
Master Fox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 wont appen! We'll get Jan Molby instead, he'll fit straight into our team of super-stars
lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Be good to see him come back to us. But the team lineup would still contain Hughes and/or Johnson even with Joey in the lineup, whereas he should play in place of one of them.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 wont appen! Indeed I'll be amazed if there is any truth in this.
holly Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 oh if only this was true!! i miss him could do with him aswell
eaststandtom Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 cant say that this will be progression. sure i'd rather him than andy johnson but what about williams and wesolowski and hughes even. kelly should play those 3 together to get the best out of them like at the end of last season. for all of joey's endevour he wasn't the greatest and hardly dependable in possession. funny what a couple of long range efforts can do for your mystique and legend. he'll be 8 foot tall and fire breathing in 6 months. long shock of red hair!!!!
Ultra Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Don't think we can get him back before January, even on loan.
lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Gudjonsson and Badjohnson. Ace! Only from you Fez. Good stuff
breaker7 Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Only from you Fez. Good stuff is there an uglyjohnson anywhere ????
The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Ulrika? Or if it must be a footballer - Seth?
Magic No. 8 Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 It would be great but this is a clear wind up. No link to the speculation and from a poster with one solitary post.
