Stevosevic Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 It would be great but this is a clear wind up. No link to the speculation and from a poster with one solitary post. he does sound foreign though
Magic No. 8 Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 he does sound foreign though Its easily achieved
Ric Flair Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Get him back please, we miss his goals and assists. There is no way, Wesolowski, Williams, Hughes or Badjohnson will score 9 and get 7 or 8 assists either per season like Joey did last season.
teblin Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 Think william will get 7 - 10 assists but not goals!
Tubes Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 joey could give the forwards the service they need!!! legend get him in RK
Daggers Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 We'll get Jan Molby instead, he'll fit straight into our team of super-stars he only comes as part of a pair with Fat Nev
BartonFox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 joey could give the forwards the service they need!!! legend get him in RK
chili_con_carne Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 It was meant to be Gudjonsson v De Vries when AZ played Den Haag. But both players were on the bench with only De Vries coming on Come back Joey http://soccernet.espn.go.com/match?id=199515&cc=5739
AyewJoking Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I dont understand. Why did Joey join them, wasnt he supposed to be acting in the best interests of himself and his family? Why "grudgingly" leave Leicester for a team where he cant get in the first eleven? Is he just out of form?
lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 I dont understand. Why did Joey join them, wasnt he supposed to be acting in the best interests of himself and his family? Why "grudgingly" leave Leicester for a team where he cant get in the first eleven? Is he just out of form? I think he signed a pre-contract with them when we looked fooking doomed last season. Whether he knew he'd be in the first 11 or not I don't know, but he joined a club that'd pay him decent enough wages in the top flight of the domestic league as opposed to a club in the third tier who'd pay him less
AyewJoking Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 So we wont get him on loan if we have to pay his current wage?

Whether he knew he'd be in the first 11 or not I don't know, but he joined a club that'd pay him decent enough wages in the top flight of the domestic league as opposed to a club in the third tier who'd pay him less Without forgetting colleagues of international class and European competition.
SystonFox Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 get him in Rob Kelly. he was as much a saviour as RK was last season and i believe he can do an excellent job again.
chili_con_carne Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 He might even return 10 times a better player after being around world class players and top quality coaching
lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 So we wont get him on loan if we have to pay his current wage? Not too sure tbh, you'd have to ask somebody who knows what his current wage is and what wages our board would be able to offer him. My guess is we'd struggle but we may manage it provided the whole thing isn't a hoax (which it could well be considering there's no link/proof). Without forgetting colleagues of international class and European competition. Well yeah that as well !! I mean who wouldn't want that?? Anybody would have made that choice really.
