[ I'm Leicester on my THIRD season ] I planned to sign seven players in the summer with a transfer budget of 3m. Of course with some going out, the number will be increasing. I sold wantaway striker Matty Fryatt to relegated Blackburn (4m). Stephen Hughes, Momo Sylla, Darren Kenton and Rab Douglas are just a few of the names I have released in the summer. I planned to sell Iain Hume (who also wants to leave) but nobody came in with a bid. Marco Bertolina attracted the attention of some Premiership clubs but wants to stay with me. Coming in was Stephen Carr (free), Jordan Stewart (2m), Rob Hulse (14k) and Giorgios Efrem (free). James Beattie had agreed terms with me but failed his medical (I later found out he was out for 7 months). Rangers also accepted a 2.3m bid for striker Billy Sharp but he didn't want to join There are 3 players hopefully arriving in the next couple of days. However it will be too late for the start of the new season, which kicks off in 1 minute. A trip to Sheff Utd. Yummy You payed £2 million for Jordan Stewart

Meanwhile, Milan top the table after beating Roma 5-1 in the early kick off. And a shock win for Fenerbahce, beating Barcelona 1-0 with an Alex penalty.

Just beat Barcelona 5-2! Ratinho got 2 goals from rb, Ballack got another two and even Makelele scored Ballack has been immense so far for me.
Geo V Posted 9 March 2007 Posted 9 March 2007 No patches downloaded so I am just going along without Mandaric`s riches but I have a 3 year plan to win the title and we are on schedule . Here are some of the stats.... A solid first season, top scorers and automatic promotion. Leeds relegated The ins and outs in season one Season two and the first in the Premiership. A late dip ended Champs league hopes but at least we made European football... Current season is in early stages but things are going OK. Stadium is due to become almost a 40,000 after I gave the board an ultimatum that I would resign . Some of the players bought in for pennies are worth millions, especially Naismith and Qvist at over £6m. Dennilson and especially Eddie Johnson continue to be the best performers. BTW I have a handful more players inm the reserves for safe keeping The title will be ours if I can manage to persuade some more players to the club !!

I think the only way that I can say that I did things naughtily was when I tried to sign Bosmans from January onwards with no intentions of keeping them. I think I bought Dunn and Moekena who I sold as soon as they arrived on July 1st and when I put them on the list they were unhappy that I had signed the on false pretences and even Moekena went missing from training !! I think its pointless in using cheats on games as it defeats the object. We get enough pointers from game to game as you get to see which players to get and which ones to avoid when we decide to start a fresh. I have a hardcore of players I always try to get within the first 4 seasons but it depends at which club you start with.

Brainy Posted 9 March 2007 Posted 9 March 2007 I seriously haven't seen anything more farcical. Iain Hume has wanted to move from the club for the past year. I've gave clubs the oppurtunity to sign him but none of them have placed a bid. In early September Hume asked to be taken of the transfer list, and I accepted. 4 days later, a newspaper reports that Hume feels he has achieved all he can and wants to move.

My media prediction was 18th but I appear to have made some very good signings. Rob Hulse was a bargain at 14k, Ashley Chambers has made a breakthrough into the first team, scoring 11 times this season. Hume is still at the club for some reason. Steve Harper - signing of the season for me - 700k from Newcastle, conceding 30 times in 29 games. Doesn't help that he conceded six against Plymouth.Im 3 points of the play offs and i'm in no form. About 2 wins from 15. Doesn't help that im currently in a period of the season where I play 5 former Premiership teams in a row.

It was easy in 05 but dead hard in 06. I took Exeter from Conference to Premiership in consecutive seasons, kept them up first season in 14th, finished 6th the second season, doing well in the UEFA cup, and I still can't get the bloody job, my reputation is only national, and all the players at the club want to leave. Oh and nice sig.
