Football Manager 2007

The fact he's complaining is probably WHY he hasn't performed above a six this season.

No I played him while Ronaldo was injured, he was crap. So I put Ronaldo back in as you would when he'd recovered, and played Quaresma Cup games, and he still played crap and started complaining.

And Ronaldo and Guardado are both better, but he's worth around £10million but I can't sell him <_<

You can't expect to sell a player that isn't playing and is crap when they DO get on. You'll need to run him into form to increase demand. It's unfortunate but that's how the game works, if you want to ship him off it'll have to be at knock down prices.

Put him as transfer listed, squad staus not needed, then offer him to clubs for free and negotiate bids

Yeah thats exactly my problem, I tried offering some of my worse players for free, no one took them still?

Ah it doesn't matter, it just means my reserve theam could have a 100% record next year

What's your system looking like? I mean, for a start, I wouldn't bother with the CM. Drop him back and find a quality DM I find it makes a pretty massive difference. I'd be looking to the SPL for defenders, too. Darren Barr, Willie Kinnibugh on the cheap have worked for me in the Premiership. Gary Caldwell and Stephen Whittaker were worth a look when I had a bit more dollar-dollar bill, too. I've just put Artur Boruc between the sticks, too, this season and he's doing a great job.

5th in the Premiership in the third season, can't be too bad:

I've hijacked your tactics Finners, hope you don't mind

I've got about three games running, atm. One with Leicester (which I got bored of 'cos I've been Citeh about a zillion times), one with Plymouth (which I got frustrated with in the third season 'cos I got lumbered with about 9 long term injuries) and my oldest game with Real Betis that I still play on and off.

 Plymouth

I've played with them on 05 and 06. I usually end up chasing promotion but performances/results in the final third of the season let me down.

When im not them, theyre my bogey team :glare:

I see...

---------

Plymouth beat me twice when I got promoted

---------

The Leicester board are delighted to have such a legendary manager employed at the club

Soo, £52million to spend, and my strikers are growing old, Villa, Torres or another?

My first season with Plymouth on that game was probably my best game EVER on ANY sports management sim. Part luck, I suppose and part a fantastic run of form. But I stormed the league, won by landslide, had Promotion by early March and the title by the middle of the month. Insane.

My best ever game was on 2006, though. Took Swansea to Europe with a great little squad of talented youngsters. It was much easier on the last game though, the scouts sort of played the game for you. Haha.

 Finnegan you are a god :worship:

First game after robbing your tactic, 4-1 win over Liverpool.

In that case I shall modify it slightly and pass it on as my own.

Haha. Get everyone except your CBs looking for through-balls, too, presuming you've got some good passers in the side - Carlos Vela will lap 'em up.

I can't keep the same strikerforce for more than 3 games with Stoke.

My strikers have probably had 3 months in total on the sidelines due to injury this year. Now Sidibe (who has actually done quite well) is out for 5 months.

Yeah right now i've got lots of injuries, the thing that made my win over Liverpool that more impressive was that I only had 16 fit players.

Oh and the reserves aren't too good either

Buxton 6 months

Broomes 5 months

Bangoura (whos out on loan anyway) 2 months

This is ridiculus.

First, all my players get sent of for tackles form behind, then the ****** crashes and I lose two months :@

I feel for ya Potter...but seriously, use Finnegan's tactic, i'm 3-0 up against Newcastle now after 25 minutes

E i e i e i oh! :D

Finally being undone, after 4 straight wins using your tactic i'm getting panned at Old Trafford. Playing some brilliant football though, top tactic

I might try them on my histon team, 3rd season in the prem now after staying up by one point last season lol:D

My problem is I keep signing new youngsters my scouts have scouted for me, if I had the patience I'm sure i'd have a class team in 4 or 5 years.

I'll post some of my players up later.

Stoke 3-1 Birmingham

All 3 goals absolute screamers from 25 yards + (Fuller, Pericard and Hendrie)

But i cant go through this game surely without picking up an injury? :nono: Pericard out for 3 weeks.
