lildave3 Posted 18 May 2007 Posted 18 May 2007 I've started one with Boro then. Pre-season has gone well, with 1 more friendly against Dortmund before the league kicks off at home to Bolton. Made 4 signings but two of them are youngsters that won't get anywhere near. Sold just 2 players, but released 13 academy players

Yakubu has been brilliant and the lad I signed, Vicente Sanchez, has been quality. Only cost 2.4 mil aswell

Sly Posted 19 May 2007 Posted 19 May 2007 Why were you in League One? Robert Kelly managed to get them relegated, got sacked and then got replaced by Mike Stowell. I took over from Mike Stowell when he was sacked as it looked like Leicester were heading for League 2. I was however top of the league 1 with Tamworth at the time. You gotta have a bit of loyalty to your home town club. Tamworth are currently top of the Championship with me sitting pretty in second.
