Micky Ruddle Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 How do you upload the patches to Football Manager? It isn't doing it on mine Please PM me
Geo V Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 I started a new one this morning as the decorators are in for three bloomin days and Im bored sh***less and so far its going well despite this disaster at Plymouth... The transfers in and out are as follows..... The squad are performing well although I`ll need some more defenders in January as they are doing poorly and the table is here to. We are well set after recent wins over Birmingham and Preston
potter3 Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 Resigned from Dundalk and moved to Stalybridge Celtic, 22nd (last) in the Conference North, 5-6 points adrift of safety with 18 games gone. Won my first game, winning my second as we speak edit: Won it 2-1 with only two shots on target to their 6 or 7
Geo V Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 God bless America! If it wasnt for Eddie Johnson, I think I would have been in 10th place this season but the yank striker is doing the business bigtime. Adding Kasper Schmeichel in goal has worked and re-signing ben Thatcher has given us good options although I only offered him a deal until the end of the season and a few of the squad are unhappy at the thought of losing him in the summer and are all upset . Anyway, we have been in sparkling form and are leading the way and surely promotion and the title will be mine.
potter3 Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Eddie Johnson 35 in 35 I kept meaning to sing him when I was Leicester and never did.
Geo V Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Eddie Johnson 35 in 35 I kept meaning to sing him when I was Leicester and never did. There are some players who I always buy and they never fail to repay me and Johnson is one of them. He always ends up at a big club in Spain for some reason but then never plays despite a big fee
potter3 Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 He's at Lille on my game, Qvist is at Arsenal. For some reason decen players are going to Ireland

I always try to have different players each time.
Brainy Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Does it not get a bit boring signing the same ones everytime? I always try to have different players each time. Thats exactly what I think I also sign British based players, maybe the reason why i usually do shit. Anyway, FM bores me now but im bored Who can i be
FilboFox Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 I'm having a sh*te day with Leicester... 12 games in it was 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats... the following 8 games were 2 draws and 6 defeats... I am lost as to what to do although we won against Plymouth last game to make it less hard... Currently 11th and need to get better... shame there isn't a way to shout at the team after games i.e. when you aren't in a match situation. Am in my first season with them and have pretty much kept the same squad... need to change that! The only person I have bought is Capaldi who's been pretty good so far...
Geo V Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Does it not get a bit boring signing the same ones everytime? I always try to have different players each time. I dont always sign the same players but I try and get 3 or 4 of the favs. Also, I havent played it with Leicester that often but I am playing it for the last time in a few months as I am off abroad BTW I made it into the prem and have started with a home win against Liverpool and away win at Chelski so saving ourselves from relegation may well be a possibility! The strange thing was what Moaninho said to me after the game though! BTW my surname isnt Coleman but I picked that name as I thought he would be our next manager. Sad yes but my surname is too long for the page What a lovely bloke he is
filbertway Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Well it took to 2019 but I fanlly got Histon into the Prem
lildave3 Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 I want to go on it, but I haven't got a good game going and I can't be arsed to go through all the pre-season nonsense. It's a right predicament of a kerfuffle of a deelybob. <_<
Brainy Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 A few days of this is what I needed. Back with.. .. Derby 4/6 points so far
JoeyB Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 A few days of this is what I needed.Back with.. .. Derby 4/6 points so far Clear off and never come back on here again!! btw how good is howard, barnes and lupoli?
Brainy Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Havent had enough time to judge yet. I made my assistant control my friendlies and have only seen them in two games. Howard, scored one, but other than that they've been average

filbertway Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 What was your cheating method None Infact I hate cheating on FM ask potter I once replayed a play off final and won it, then deleted the game after about 7 seasons becasue it didn't feel right . The only cheating you could say I did was going on holiday for spells of 3 months to get through it quicker, but it was my own team, tactics and time spent doing it, no cheats

It's a right predicament of a kerfuffle of a deelybob. <_< I always cancel all the pre-season friendlies they have already set up and just pick 4 teams for you to play at home who are all shite! Make sure that they are spaced out a week apart working backwards from your first league fixture. If you cant stand friendlies you can counter it by going on holiday for a day when matchday comes but you risk a few of thing going wrong (through experience). Firstly, some players moan if the assistant gives a poor teamtalk and secondly, he doesnt play all the players that you would normally play. Finally, if you get a player with a knock, its best to take him off to risk him being injured but the lazy assed assistant leaves them to butcheer themselves and you end up with an injury or two (sometimes).

I don't mean the friendlies. I've never took charge of them. I mean all the new signings and the staff and palava. Too much effort at this moment of time. Don't be surprised though if by the time you've got back i'm in my 17th season with Middlesbrough

Or go Manager>Options and tick "Assistant takes control of Friendlys" lildave start unemployed, I did but I'm in the Conference North in 2008
lildave3 Posted 17 May 2007 Posted 17 May 2007 Or go Manager>Options and tick "Assistant takes control of Friendlys"lildave start unemployed, I did but I'm in the Conference North in 2008 I've decided. I'm going to start as Boro tomorrow. This means that i'll stay 'til lunch Joe then sod off home
Finnegan Posted 18 May 2007 Posted 18 May 2007 Lupoli gets fantastic, currently have him in the Premiership with Plymouth. He can't get ahead of Thomas Pekhart and Shane Long at the moment though, but that's more an issue of form. Oh, and I just found some lad called Paul Anderson, born in Leicester, a product of Liverpool's accademy? My scout's are trying to make me sign the lad, tsh. How did he slip through the net, eh, Thracian?
