Bert Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 What is all the hype about? I now know why he hasn't already been brought in before tonights game.
Milky Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 completely out of his depth. He's only 17 though to be fair.
syston_fox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Give the kid a break!!! It was against a PREMIERSHIP defence! He's used to playing 16 year olds week in week out. This was a huge step up for him so cut him some slack. Its not like he played badly!
Mark Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 What is all the hype about? I now know why he hasn't already been brought in before tonights game. Where's the hype? There hasn't been any hype about any strikers other than Chambers. He made his debut against International Premiership defenders, was you expecting him to suddenly run rings around them?
Sparky Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 yeah he is still a long way off being a player at this level but lets give the kid a chance , get him doing weights in the gym fast !
lildave3 Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 I think he showed a glimpse of waht he could do. That turn through 2 players was awesome!
Shum Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Where's the hype? There hasn't been any hype about any strikers other than Chambers. He made his debut against International Premiership defenders, was you expecting him to suddenly run rings around them? When he came on every one around was like who... Don't people know who the upcoming players are at all?!
SteveJacko Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 His little bring down that beat 2 villa players was class , bit more experience and a little more confidence he could be good , thought we definatley lacked hight though towards the end of the game , with Hume , Rambo , Wesolowski all pushing on.
Bert Posted 24 October 2006 Author Posted 24 October 2006 Well from what people who have been to watch him have said, and the constant calls for him to come in week in week out, i thought he'd be better than that.
SystonFox Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 bad game to start him in imo. although he was our only option on the bench. good luck to him if he is in the squad for other games this season though.
C-man Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 Well from what people who have been to watch him have said, and the constant calls for him to come in week in week out, i thought he'd be better than that. I've seen Bert play, and he's better than Eric. Only joking, tonight you saw glimpse's of nice play but he wasn't as good as everyone's reviews of him. But what do you expect?
Filbert_Ross Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 id never heard of him untill today, it was like playing with ten men at times, but the lad is a kid and I hope he go's on to have a good leic career.

Gutted.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 What is all the hype about? I now know why he hasn't already been brought in before tonights game. Nice intelligent post mate. Sounds like you know f**k all about him. Not many academy players get slated on their debuts (against a team that hasn't lost in the prem yet!).
Thracian Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 What is all the hype about? I now know why he hasn't already been brought in before tonights game. You do talk some shit.
SteveJacko Posted 24 October 2006 Posted 24 October 2006 I somehow created this earlier whilst sitting in J3 , looked a twat when i shouted go on rambo , but I think some people caught on , Rambo is alot easier to say than OdiblahblahHAMBO anyway....
