Stevosevic Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 simple question I think Manchester United, also if i had £50 million i would definetely buy Rooney over Drogba. personally i think the lads a genius and we should be grateful that hes english.
Guest Gist Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Hopefully Man Utd although I don't like them that much I prefer them to Chelsea.
Wils Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Chelsea. And i think Rooney is a better player than Drogba, maybe not as much of a goalscorer but a better player.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Chelsea. And i think Rooney is a better player than Drogba, maybe not as much of a goalscorer but a better player. Wheres your vote?
coale39 Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Bit unrelated but I cant believe Leicester released a player that has scored against Man u in the Premiership! Eh! Shocking.
Simi Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 Manchester United Wayne Rooney.. Rooney is the more complete player at the moment maybe not a prolific goalscorer but a better all round player
Stuliasz Posted 18 November 2006 Posted 18 November 2006 I think Man Utd will take the victory next week but as the season goes on I think their lack of depth compared to Chelsea will show. Could go down to the wire but I reckon Chelsea will sneak it again unfortunately. As for Rooney vs Drogba, if this was the vote for who Mandaric is going to bring in on the 1st of January I would have to say Rooney
Finnegan Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 United, Rooney. They're both arseholes, though Drogba's less likely to get sent off. Difference between Drogba and Rooney, is that Drogba might give you 20 goals in a season, but Rooney will give you 20 goals and 20 assists. Neither are world class, super goal scorers but Rooney offers more to a team than Drogba who's above average at best and just enjoying a rare purple patch of good form.
lcfc_jme Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Not Arsenal!!! Bwah ha ha!! Speaking of Arsenal, why haven't you updated your Arsenal bashing thread just recently. A draw against Newcastle isn't exactly anything to rave about is it?? (I am right in crediting you with that thread aren't I??) Big game next week. A Man Utd win could see them streaking away with it as they would be 6 points clear and generally tend to do better in the second half of the season. But a Chelsea win could make things very exciting and see them level on points as they head towards Christmas.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Arsenal, hopefully If not then, Man Utd. Rooney is better than Drogba.
Simi Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Sundays game will go along way to decide who wins the title i think!
holly Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 man u and rooney for me! dunno why i think man u i just think they seem 2 have it going for them at the mo
filbertway Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Man Utd for me, would be interesting to see if abramovic leaves if they don't win the league... And rooney is a better player than drogba for me.
Bert Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Chelsea although i hate to say it. Rooney - Just seems to have that little bit more about him.
Mort Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Chelsea... i think they'll make it over the long haul, while ManU might have a stumble or two ahead, but it'll be close and Chelsea are totally focused on the Champions League this season anyway. Rooney... easily, by far the more creative and flexible player... Drogba is only good if he's forced to be (stops him being lazy... as he undoubtly can be).
Bert Posted 20 November 2006 Posted 20 November 2006 United, Rooney. They're both arseholes, though Drogba's less likely to get sent off. You wouldn't be saying that if they were Welsh.
