The People's Hero Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 Alright Barry!! Cheque's in the post mate..
Thracian Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 Its not going to be a good December. After November even one win would seem like a birthday.
lcfc_jme Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 After November even one win would seem like a birthday. Yessssssssssssssss my birthday is in December, can't wait I'm meant to be growing up, but you really wouldn't think it would you?? Oh well, hopefully we can repeat our October form in December, it'll make me happy over my triple-celebratory holiday
ooh Tommy Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 This league is so bad anyone can beat anyone on their day.
Steven Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 I'm with you matey. I look forward to RK picking up manager of the month for December and spraying the cheap champagne in Hammonds face for scoring 8 goals during the month. I'll have a pint of whatever you are drinking.
Swedging Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 9 points out of the home matches and 3 away (a win at Hull) is what I'd go for, if I were to put money on it.
TheShrew Posted 29 November 2006 Posted 29 November 2006 I'll have a pint of whatever you are drinking. Make one for yourself! Johnson introduced me to it. It tastes pretty good, but is a bit risky (can lead to a serious hangover if you have too much)
Katy Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 We are doomed, doomed I tell ye! The thing is though football is so bloody unpredictable that it would be just like us to be unbeaten after all that lot.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Barton you're being so cynical. Even with Rob Kelly in charge there is no reason we shouldn't take 12 points from that lot...at least that's what I would expect in his place. where are we getting 12 points from there then. 8 IMO.
The People's Hero Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Alright Barry!! Cheque's in the post mate.. Bazza... Oi... Barry.. Did it arrive mate?
Thracian Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 where are we getting 12 points from there then. 8 IMO. Sheffield, Barnsley, Hull and Sunderland should be beatable with our squad - it never works like that but any shortfall should be made up from Wolves and Cardiff. Southampton is the only game I'd say we were unlikely to get anything out of. If it falls down to the eight points from seven games you predict, which is perfectly possible as things stand, I'd say Kelly needs to consider taking a less exacting challenge somewhere else.

Sunderland??? not on paper Thracian thats for certain, even if we are at home. out of Wednesday Bansleh and't Hull we'll proabley get 6/7 points. We'll pick another draw or two up in the rest of those fixtures. Of course if he doesn't get 6/7 points from those three games I think it's Job Centre time.
The People's Hero Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Not sure where that cheque got to then.
Dr The Singh Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Sunderland??? not on paper Thracian thats for certain, even if we are at home. out of Wednesday Bansleh and't Hull we'll proabley get 6/7 points. It also depends if we drop in the bottom 3, 6/7 should be enough to keeps out of out the bottom 3 but one never knows though!!

Sunderland never play especially well at Leicester when I've seen them...mind you it was going back a bit!
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 Sunderland never play especially well at Leicester when I've seen them...mind you it was going back a bit! They're not going to need to play espwically well are they
davieG Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 6, 7, 8, 12 points where does that all come from - I thought we'd just picked up 1 point from the last 15
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 6, 7, 8, 12 points where does that all come from - I thought we'd just picked up 1 point from the last 15 True but you'd think even we'd be capable of turning Barnsley over.
Lord Nibblington Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 True but you'd think even we'd be capable of turning Barnsley over. You'd hope so, but they have got the whole recently sacked managed syndrome. Which by the time we play them could be replaced by recently appointed manager syndrome.
Steven Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 True but you'd think even we'd be capable of turning Barnsley over. I'm not so sure. <_<
davieG Posted 30 November 2006 Posted 30 November 2006 True but you'd think even we'd be capable of turning Barnsley over. Well they've picked up 9 from the last 15, mind you they were all at home. They haven't won away since they beat Hull & Colchester in August. So that's win for Barnsley then

So that's win for Barnsley then Exactly. Just as Norwich hadn't scored more than 1 goal in a home game since August was it? We seem to be giving teams the chance to bounce back and end miserable runs, as well as allowing teams on good runs to continue them. We're screwed atm, and we'd be very lucky if it got any better before the New Year.
