Walcott can't get a game and you wouldn't want Hleb in a Senior League team on that show. A little bit of steraightforward pressing and all their composure falls apart. The sooner Wenger gets back to his proper football the better. I reckon he's been guesting on an English coaching course.

How the fook the ref hasn't seen Cole's foul in the build up to the goal, Essien has missed from 3 yards but scored an absolute screamer and Lampard hasn't won the game in the last seconds I don't know Good stuff

At least the Arse had some sort of excuse but Chelsea, playing at home and with Robben & SWP on the bench - WTF. It's all a sham.

I agree that the pair of them should have been introduced earlier - they scared the life out of Arsenal. Especially Robben. Mourinho has his untouchables - the Chelsea version of the Chosen Men. They left it a little too late to win the game and it was all their own fault. Glad they didn't win though, I'd hate for them to win the league again this year.

But Gilberto was superb for the gooners and for his efforts alone they probably deserved the draw. Unless Chelsea can make up ground in the next few weeks, the title is probably on its way back to Old Trafford already!

Nationwider Posted 10 December 2006 Posted 10 December 2006 I don't think Chelsea are out of it yet. I think Man Utd's possible weakness is the fact that when you take away Ronaldo and/or Rooney, their attacking options are significantly weakened. An injury to one or both of them could really mean they start to look a bit ordinary. Chelsea have a stronger squad to the extent that even if Shevchenko and Drogba were both injured, they could probably play Mikel or Kalou up front in a 4-5-1 and still be as consistent. Their midfield would probably just grind out about 27 consecutive 1-0 wins.

I've actually yet to see the class he showed at Stuttgart, but to be fair it was a decent assist he made for Flamini's goal (ignoring the fact The Flam was completely unmarked). That was the best final 10 minutes I've ever seen. And what about Lehmann v Drogba. :laugh: Had the whole pub in stitches. Same here... I'm quite embarrassed about seeing two football stars like that act so childishly. It makes football look like a pansy-sport!! But Gilberto was superb for the gooners and for his efforts alone they probably deserved the draw. He was indeed brilliant. He covered the back four masterfully and hardly misplaced a pass all game...
