Ok own up, who likes Hip-hop? I like old school hip-hop. Digital Underground, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, Public Enemy, Tone Loc, KRS-One, Mantronix, some NWA etc... Hip-hop's quite a broad genre, but if you're interested, I'd take the time to listen to some De La Soul, Jurassic 5, The Roots, DJ Format and anything on James Lavelle's Mo'Wax label. I'm sure there's plenty of good stuff I've neglected to mention. For me, Jay-Z, Beyonce Knowles, Eminem and Akon do not represent good hip-hop - if that's the sort of music you're referring to? I don't have a favourite style of music. If I had to label it, it'd be "shuffle play".

I'll point out to you that indie is a form of rock... And you missed Techno, Brummie-Fox... heck, just add it to the similar genres Hiphop/Dance/Rap

Just like doing a poll on the best football team: Arsenal Chelsea Liverpool Other Oh hang on, forgot on, Man Utd. Best supported club in Britain probably. So we SHOULD include them. So I asked incase I missed GOOD categories
