Brainy Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 I thought Lawrenson went a bit over-the-top by calling it "frightening" though Craig Fagan has broken his leg as a result of it.
RowlattsFox Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Craig Fagan has broken his leg as a result of it. It was a bad tackle but it didn't look like a leg braking sort of tackle. Fagan even got up afterwards and didn't look in too much pain.
The Reverend Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Yep, he's broke his leg. Guthrie should have the book thrown at him. Disgusting challenge.
Corky Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Craig Fagan has broken his leg as a result of it. I know that now, but when I saw it, it didn't look like a leg-breaking tackle. I was wrong.
Bert Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Guthrie will see no further punishment as he was reprimanded during the game, I just hope he makes a big apology to Fagan.
Tilley Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 I do wonder about you sometimes. The man is a living legend, what he's done at United is nothing short of awesome and he fully deserves his title. Why
Bert Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 Why That post, " " marks, basically relating to sir Alex Ferguson being a sir.
Uncle Albert Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 Bolton 1-1 Arsenal. Come on Bolton. Shame Kevin Davies has never had an England call up.
lavrentis Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 I don't know the scores? Are we in for a good one?
Uncle Albert Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 I don't know the scores? Are we in for a good one? Not really I dont think. 9 goals out of 5 games so far.
Tommeh Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 Typcial my 1st sat night in for weeks and motd will be gash, why Uefa cup has to be on a Thursday I'll never know. Give us our 3pm saturday KO's back!
Uncle Albert Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 West Ham fans are gash. Hardly. Newcastle fans are nobheads.
hebangsthedrums Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 What an absolute cock Mark Lawrenson is.
Corky Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 What an absolute cock Mark Lawrenson is. Yes. Not his fault he's sitting next to one as well.
Uncle Albert Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 Gareth Barry is a poor mans Keith Andrews. Never has a truer word be spoken.
lavrentis Posted 20 September 2008 Posted 20 September 2008 Gareth Barry is a poor mans Keith Andrews. I actually thought they looked alike.
Tilley Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Arsenal are awesome. Their second goal was a typical Arsenal goal, fantastic. Typical promoted team tactics by Stoke, every man behind the ball, it worked though, Liverpool's finishing was crap, but their goal should have stood. Fulham are as inconsistant as ever, Blackburn are still poor. Good start for Zole & Clarke, Di Michele (sp?) could have had a hatful with the chances he has missed against WBA & Newcastle. Newcastle situation just gets worse by the minute.
Anish Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Arsenal played some magnificent football and all three goals were fantastic moves. It was like watching a computer game football match with the textbook runs, passes and clinical finishing!
act smiley Posted 21 September 2008 Posted 21 September 2008 Typical promoted team tactics by Stoke, every man behind the ball, it worked though, Liverpool's finishing was crap, but their goal should have stood. I dunno, to me it certainly wasn't clear cut.
