What game were you watching?

Giving DC a 3 is a joke. He came on and did very well in my opinion and i'm sure most people will agree with that. I would love to see him start right wing against Fulham.

Porter a 7.5, our best outfield player? i don't think so. He did nothing all game.

Paddy Mccarthy and Kisnorbo had good games I thought. They made some vital tackles and clearances when we were most vulnerable.

Hendo 8 - kicking was better, pulled of some great saves MOTM

Stearman - 6 made some good tackle and runs, passing and touch was poor

Kenton 4 - poor touch, looked upfit, silly booking, made 1 good block

Kis 6 1/2 - good tackles, cant pass on the floor

paddy 6 - great tackles in first half 2nd half poor, stop complaning and play football

hughes - 5 out of it (need i say more)

levi 7 - good runs but was out of it at times

williams 7 - back to his old self but i think he plyed some good balls and kept tracking back

weso - 7 played well good tackles few good runs, but went back too many times instead of going forwards

fryatt - 6 good running should of done better with his effot

o'grady 6 - nice to see him back but poor

subs - hume - 7 looked sharp and made the players up there effot a bit more

Danny C - 7 looked quite good, maybe not be sharp or match fit but kept things simple and put some dangerous crosses in

kelly - 5 too many changes upset the balance of the team should of played logan (probably done a better job) instead of kenton

Henderson may have been our best player but to give him an 8 is ridiculous he should get a 5 tops.

His distribution is appalling and led to their second goal ffs!

actually you are right, his distribution was poor, 8 was a lttle bit high and i was a bit harsh on paddy mac and d.c but ive carmed down a bit now!

Henderson 9 - fooking superb, 4 or 5 world class saves, kept us in it and was so unlucky not to keep a clean sheet. Couldn't have asked any more of him.

Stearman 5 - no different to any other of his performances this season, played nowhere near to his full potential. It's clear his mind isn't on the game atm. :(

Kisnorbo 6 - not his usual self

McCarthy 6 - failed to organise the defence, we looked so vulnerable at the back today. Where was McAuley?

Kenton 5 - offered nothing going forward and was poor defensively too.

Hughes 6 - did try to get the attacks going but drifted inside way too much.

Williams 5 - did fook all. <_<

Wesolowski 6 - ran around a bit and did carry the ball forward, but kept then giving it away.

Porter 5 - kept getting knocked off the ball, didn't run at his man.

O'Grady 6 - tried hard but lacks the touch needed to make him a decent option up front

Fryatt 6 - certainly looks a bit fitter, made one or two decent runs. Should never be played alongside O'Grady again.

And the one you've all been waiting for...

Danny Cadamarteri 6 - not bad but not great either, at least looked alot more positive than anyone else did with the ball.

hendo - 6.5 - decent saves but only the one from connolly from close range was really good. kicking was awful.

stearman - 5 - lost all confidence

mccarthy - 6 - average

kisnorbo - 6 - has no idea where he heads the ball, mis-kicks but some good challanges

kenton - 6 - defensively ok but passing was awful. if i was johansson, i would be a very pissed off man right now.

hughes - 7 - only player that looked like doing something. was better on right than when he moved to centre.

weso - 6 - sloppy passing but chased the ball down.

williams - 6 - tried things but didnt come off.

porter - 5 - i would say this was his performance this season, not having a go at him though. someone on here said porter should take the set pieces, he did today and they wernt better than williams.

o'grady - 5 - fouls, looks for free kicks, dont remember his winning many headers but did put himself about.

fryatt - 6 - looked a better player as soon as hume came on.

cadamarteri - 6 - did ok, didnt see much of the ball.

hume - 6 - nothing came off again but his prescence on pitch made us a bigger threat.

:P At least you admitted you were wrong ;)

It's about time Rob Kelly did the same!

Whene realised im wrong ill admit to it, Kelly doesn't realise that palying boring football is not the way forward, get a bit of spark in to the team and ATTACK

only one he made several

1) in the firs half that header from 2 yards out

2) second half shot from the 6 yard box which was desting for goal tipped round the post

3) first half (again) from connelys lob did well to reach it

4) saved alot of 1 on 1's near the end of the 2nd half

Williams back to his 'sheer worst' then. He is a useless w****r.

Henderson 8.5 (MoM by miles. Might have had a 10 but for his unfortunate calamity. His first half save at the left-post from the point-blank header was world class)

Stearman 6.5 (Never an easy day for him but tried so hard to defend and to support.)

McCarthy 6 (The usual misture. Some vital interceptions but ragged in places too)

Kisnorbo 6 (Will his passing ever improve?)

Kenton 3 (Taken to the proverbial cleaners, particularly second half)

Hughes 6 (Started okay but faded to ineffectiveness)

Williams 4 (Tried to prompt the team but doesn't have the drive to support his own attacks. And his touch is still missing.)

Wesolowski 3 (Much of the game passed him by. Still a way off being fit or having his old bite)

Porter 6.5 (With Hume set up a great chance for Fryatt and should have won a penalty when his cross was handled. Two or three free kicks were so nearly despatched by Kisnorbo. Could have done with more support and more of the ball but that was never going to come with Weso and Kenton struggling.

Fryatt 5 (One great chance when he failed to test the keeper. Seems to be gettin fitter but sharpness is lacking and he remains far too greeedy. He must have took on six ior seven men in one run into a dead end during the first half.)

SUBS:

O'Grady 4 (Cannot believe how unfit he looked compared with the start of the season. Should never have been used as anything but a sub.)

Cadamarteri 4 (A real insult to use him ahead of Andy KIng. No logic or sense in it whatsoever.)

Hume 6 (Made a great chance for Fryatt with a first time ball from Porter's feed which could, ironically, have given us the chance of an unlikely result. What the hell he was doing to be caught in possession and nearly concede a goal about 35 yards from our penalty area I don't know - at least I think it was him.)

Kelly 2 (Just gave himself so many problems he needn't have had. Again was totally outclassed tactically by Roy Keane who obviously did his homework and made it count.)

I disagree. The lack of movement from the other players makes him look worse.

Henderson- 7 -Without his save in the first half we would of being battered in the second half worse than we were.

Stearman- 5 -Wasn't entirely clued in. Not at his best

McCarthy- 5 -Shakey throughout. shocked that McAuely was dropped

Kisnorbo - 6

Kenton - 4 - Contantly drifting insdie although he is not a left back left there winger with far to much space resulting in Porter playing deeper.

Hughes - 6

Williams - 5 - Sloppy passing. Lazy..again

Weso - 5 - Poorest ive seen him

Porter - 6 - Kenton held him back today from attacking

Fryatt - 5 - Looking sharper but still no end prodcut.

O Grady - 5 - Not match fit, worked hard early on then faded

Subs

Hume - 5 - At times looked to play well With Cadamateri nothing special

Danny C - 5 - Not fit yet, if fitter he could maybe play right wing well

Kelly, why when we finally have some space in the midfield and we move like crabs until the ball eventually ends up at Henderson does he applaud ?

henderson 9 single handed attempt to keep us in the game. 2 world class saves. our only player who would get in their side.

kenton 1 absolutely woeful. spent most of the game on his arse.

kisnorbo 3 can't think of anything he did well.

mccarthy 3 1 good tackle otherwise useless. no leadership cant pass not good in the air. get rid.

stearman 4 not great. often caught out of position.

weso 4 tried but poor today.

williams 3 last 2 games have showed his true ability. fine agains the likes of hull but out of his depth at a higher level. did nothing today apart from run round like a headless chicken.

hughes 5 better than most and at least had our only shot on target of the last two games.

porter 5 ok going forward but was exposed today defensively. a lot to learn yet.

o'grady 2.5 pants. when did he last play 90 mins. looked completely off the pace. clueless and no confidence not strong enough to lead the line.

fryatt 5 some nice touches but exposed for lack of pace and didn't get any service.

hume 5 looked ok when he came on should have come on earlier?

danny c 4 hard to see from this what he will add. clearly miles away from full match fitness. 1 good cross but otherwise looked lost.

Kelly - 0 - Had he been on the pop?? Fuzzy head = Fuzzy logic = Fuzzy selection = Fuzzy tactics = Fuzzy performance = Fuzzy job prospects.

Henderson - 8 - Made some great saves to prevent total humiliation by Sunderland. MOTM

Stearman - 5 - Poor. Looked as though he'd forgotton what he should be doing at RB.

Kenton - 3 - Awful. But then he was playing at LB. Why?? Utterly ludicrous.

Kisnorbo - 7 - Made some telling tackles and worked hard. Which was just as well.

McCarthy - 5 - Out of sorts. Why the hell wasn't McAuley playing??

Hughes - 3 - Back to his airey-fairy worst.

Porter - 4 - Made a couple of good runs. Er, that's it.

Williams - 3 - Pisspoor.

Weso - 2 - Worst player on the pitch. Shocking. Needs to remember which team he's playing for. (Hint: We're in blue).

Fryatt - 4 - Nowhere near his form of last year. Why did he even start? Shat himself when handed a golden opportunity to score.

O' Grady - 5 - A good start but soon faded into obscurity. Another mystery selection. :(

Subs:

Hume - 7 - Huffed and puffed but chased a forlorn hope.

Danny C - 6 - At least made an effort.

Officials - 8 - The odd blip but very good on the whole. Hallelujah!

You say Kelly has his chosen men, but you've got your 'Blue eyed boys'. <_<

Porter was poor today, like everyone else. He was no better than Williams, Weso, Hughes or Fryatt.

Then you've got your 'grudge players' - Fryatt, apart from his miss, was one of our better players. He kept the ball well and layed it off when necessary. His 'greedy run' (as you call it) was excellent - he had no support whatsoever yet still took all those players on and won a throw in. And Cadamarteri did well when he came on - he kept it simple and retained possession (as you keep harping on about Porter).

My ratings:

Henderson 8

Kenton 4

McCarthy 4

Kisnorbo 5

Stearman 5

Hughes 6

Williams 5

Weso 5

Porter 5

Fryatt 6

O'Grady 5.5

I hadn't spotted that bit in Thrac's ratings about Fryatt's run. He had absolutely no-one within about thirty yards of him and three defenders round him, yet he still won a corner!!
