Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Jade Goody could do with having a chat with Gary. Discretion assured.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 I'm sure when the MM rumor started Birch mentioned he didn't get on too well with him now he's saying he's a good friend. Somebody's fighting for his job methinks. Source?
Tommeh Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 "The voice of reason"- Gary from Scraptoft!!! he's pissing me off!! "only 5 million quid raised from Leicestershire"
Jonbluefox9 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 I'm sure when the MM rumor started Birch mentioned he didn't get on too well with him now he's saying he's a good friend. Somebody's fighting for his job methinks. He just said Mandaric had a go at him for pretending to drink from a beer can that was thrown on the pich during a game in America. Don't think he said that they don't get on.
Steven Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 "The voice of reason"- Gary from Scraptoft!!! Jonbluefox9 He was talking rubbish.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Jonbluefox9 He was talking rubbish. Steven- I was quoting what Gary called himself!
potter3 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 This bloke said just about the first sensible things I've herd from a caller on here. Not that I listen to it that much though
Leicester Lass Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 That jewel from the academy is a certain Andy King
Steven Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Steven- I was quoting what Gary called himself! I always hoped you were far too sensible for that sort of comment.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 That jewel from the acadamey is a certain Andy King Rough diamond would be a better description.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Well, that's cleared it up for me very nicely. Deal or no deal? Possibly, probably........ Just be glad when it's all over. Oh, it is, it's 7pm! Excellent.
Unabomber Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Loved Birch's passion today, good to see with the likes of Barber around.
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Has anyone got a link to the show on the net at all?? I`d love to hear the Birch chatting shite again!
potter3 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Has anyone got a link to the show on the net at all??I`d love to hear the Birch chatting shite again! It says 22nd Jan, but it's not been updated yet I think. Well 5 minutes ago they were on about taking on Fulham
Geo V Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 It says 22nd Jan, but it's not been updated yet I think. Well 5 minutes ago they were on about taking on Fulham . I think we will get beat in the last minute by that midget Routledge who is going back to Spurs.
davieG Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 So was anything worthwhile stated and if so what? What did this guy JJ have to say?
luffbra Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 So was anything worthwhile stated and if so what? What did this guy JJ have to say? I was wondering that ... Did anyone actually listen?
Webbo Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 So was anything worthwhile stated and if so what? What did this guy JJ have to say? just saying that there was no guarantees about buying the ground, he'd prefer a leicestershire bid, he thought that the MM bid would probably go through. not a lot really.
davieG Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 just saying that there was no guarantees about buying the ground, he'd prefer a leicestershire bid, he thought that the MM bid would probably go through. not a lot really. thanks ffuter
luffbra Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 just saying that there was no guarantees about buying the ground, he'd prefer a leicestershire bid, he thought that the MM bid would probably go through. not a lot really. Hmm Wonder why he resigned then? Doesn't really sound like he was terribly anti-the deal ...
Jonbluefox9 Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Hmm Wonder why he resigned then? Doesn't really sound like he was terribly anti-the deal ... Something to do with making the vote unanimous. He wasn't willing to vote yes so he decided to resign so the vote was unanimously in favour of MM.
luffbra Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Something to do with making the vote unanimous. He wasn't willing to vote yes so he decided to resign so the vote was unanimously in favour of MM. Encouraging then. Not really sure how this offers the 'different perspective' that the FT were on about. It still sounds to me like this guy wasn't really opposed... I didn't listen - so wondering if I missed something?
Benji Posted 22 January 2007 Posted 22 January 2007 Something to do with making the vote unanimous. He wasn't willing to vote yes so he decided to resign so the vote was unanimously in favour of MM. Remember he is a lawyer at one of the top firms; this guy lives his whol life off of reputation. Could you imagine if mandaric ruins our club and we go out of business? He would be the well known lawyer to have sold a club to their death, i an't see many firms wanting that sort of a solicitor in charge...
