Shocking. If Leicester went and did this i'd be mortified. Their old one is so much better, I dont see the need in changing it myself?

I suspect it's because it's much easier to produce on clothing and advertising bumpth (sp) :huh:

Is it me or is that an elephant on the new badge  ;)

The main element of the crest which is carried onto the new badge is that of the elephant, which also originates from the crest of the City of Coventry, which is thought to date back to mediaeval times.

On the subject of new badges and things like this I've been told that this will be the new Arsenal kit for 2005/06 to mark the end of Highbury. Might not be the real thing though:

I think the new Cov badge is quite nice actually - their present one looks old fashioned and outdated compared to the badges of other clubs.

And as for Arsenal's new kit...disgusting.
